Hi Mat,
In reviewing some of our previous messages to see the bigger picture and since I cannot see you physically and know little about you, I have to rely on my gut for what to say.
I think you should go with the simplest practices you can -deep rest and surrender, deep inner smile to allow the clearing and completing of the…[Read more]

Mat, Do you know the Kan and Li practices? Those are designed to steam the very issues you’re referring to. My instincts are telling me to tell you to go slowly. And when you do the baths be moderate with the heat of the water. -A

Hi Mat, That’s all good, what you say. As you probably understand, pain means stuck energy. That always means a deeper process is going on and sometimes we just have to go through the experience, be with ourselves as it happens and very little that we “do” for it will change anything. The surrender thing we originally talked about is the way…[Read more]

Hi Mat-
Something else you might try that has often been a part of the healing process for me and others is to let your body make whatever sound is associated with how you feel. Start from whereever you are, whatever you are feeling and just let it come out as it is, in any way it wants to. Body often expresses primally and you may not even…[Read more]

“That’s interesting. I once had a similar thing with nettles. I just decided to let the sting in and it was gone in seconds.”
Right! It seems that non-resistance, which means acceptance, is the Way. The trick is to be able to relax and not get scared or otherwise react to the experience. That seems to be what throws you off your center.…[Read more]

Fellow Beings,
Isn’t it thrilling to experience Us in relationship as we write, “blind-dating” each other, seeking to fulfill an inner calling for communion, valiantly extending ourselves outside of our carefully guarded individual worlds for contact, encountering, encountering, encountering…
Relationship (relating) = Communication…[Read more]

“The macrocosm relates to the Dao manifest ouside your body. The trees, sun, moon, stars, etc. and the yin-yang, wuxing, etc. workings of them. The microcosm is all that inside the body. I am just boggled by relationships as being a must, ie. is there a big peice missing if you don’t have a relationship with a woman? Maybe Michael’s Lesser Kan…[Read more]

One is always in relationship with oneself, whether alone or in partnership. “Wherever you go, there YOU are.”
Most people feel that being in partnership speeds up one’s growth process. One is challenged to be open, asked to see oneself. When you’re alone it’s easier to hide. But there are times when that is the right ingredient for your…[Read more] -

Bagua’s question:
“Why would all the classics advise us to follow the way of “heaven and earth” if they are so polarized and the cause of our problem?
Why would we seek to connect to and gather the energies of Heaven and Earth in our alcehemy if they are so polarized?”
The original levels of those polarities are pure and not resistant…[Read more]

Hi matblack,
I can tell you a few things from my experience which includes having been sick ALOT in the past.
The first, most basic one, is to surrender to what is happening fully and not try to change it. Welcome it and allow its presence and process to be in you and to be “completed” by not interfering. It is trying to tell you…[Read more] -

Hello Bagua and Fajin,
While discussion sometimes brings a transmission or exchange of helpful information and energies that can deepen one’s cultivation, I find most of it to be a distraction and coming from unfulfilled needs that will not be fulfilled no matter how much you talk. The way you carry on your conversations reads (to me) more…[Read more] -

Fajin: “…I feel as if something is incomplete in the discussion. I’m not done yet.”
I believe this is because you, and also Bagua, do not know what you really want. When you find out what it is that you want, you will probably stop the continuous arguing you both have been doing in all your conversations in order to get somewhere and you…[Read more]

matblack: “…while all this talk about binary souls, Jesus, Buddah, Taoist imortals etc is creating debate, and difference of view, I CANNOT help but wish there was a unifying principle among it all that would bring us all together. Hi Tom-
I’ve had a lot of experience in the past with Drunvalo’s techinque and his material in general. I learned the Merkaba meditation from one of the Flower of Life (Drunvalo’s course) teachers who was a friend of mine and who edited Drunvalo’s first Flower of Life book. I practised the meditation daily for several years and found it very…[Read more]
