I do notice the buddhist influence. They incorporate mudras and some sound.

On the flip side, if you dont have much to lose, and you dont make a lot of money, you really dont have much to worry about right? That was me for many years…I never paid taxes. Then I started a business that became successful..guess what? I had to pay all that back taxes and penalty + interest…ended up being triple.
Just my experience.November 28, 2006 at 4:34 pm #19284Bak MeiParticipantThanks matblack.
The name literally translates as white eyebrow. White eyebrow is a southern chinese fighting system developed by the Taoist monk Bak Mei. According to my teacher: http://undergroundkungfu.com/sifu.php, it was originally conceived by watching the movements of a particular bird. This is contrary to what some people think (that it is a tiger system). I can tell you firsthand, many of the movements in the various forms, emulate bird strikes, claws, and “pecking”, etc.

so that woman in some way or another basically invited that moth thing into herself through her intention to leave this world. ”Yes, I believe through our actions, feelings , and intentions, we let these little buggers in; whether we are conscious of it or not. For my family member, she needed a way out and was asking for it. What is that saying? “god will provide” or “ask and you shall receive”, they both seem apt here.
Our emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual states are so closely related, would it suprise you to see a parasite working/living in multiple levels? In Taoism there is no distinction between the material and spiritual.
“reminds me of the stance taken by louise pastures’ opponent (forgot his name) who basically said that it is the terrain that determines what lives there (whereas pasture claimed that the ‘germ’ was the primary thing to be addressed) ”
Supposedly, Pasteur renounced germ theory in his end days and agreed with beauchamp, saying it was all the terrain. I believe that biological terrain theory has a lot of merit. If you think about it, it is quite scientific. If the environment becomes anarobic, anarobic organisms evolve (putrefactive). If aerobic conditions are maintaned, aerobic organisms thrive (beneficial).
Seems cut and dry right? Not to orthodox medicine. Orthodox medicine believes the blood is sterile and not living ( total bs). Therefore, most organisms in the body are considered attackers (germ theory) and need to be destroyed. The problem is, there is an infinite amount of these various organisms pervading our environment, body and blood. I believe they actually form a living matrix or substructure (not just in our bodies, but also in the air, water, and earth. Think gaia theory.) When you go to war with these creatures as medicine likes to do, they dont like it ( would you?) Their open ended genetic structure allows them to continue to live no matter what. As they evolve to these harsher conditons we are providing for them, they tend to grow less friendly each step of the way. Does modern medicine ever think its gonna win the war against germs? Think about this, microorganisms can live in such extreme temps as Hyperthermophiles at 110oC. They have also been used for toxic, petrol, and nuclear waste remediation (they eat that stuff!).With all this in mind, Im sure you are not suprised when I say we are living in the dark ages when it comes to “Modern Medicine”. Geez thats an oxymoron, modern medicine… hehe
November 28, 2006 at 2:42 am #19538Bak MeiParticipantThanks Snowlion, I appreciate your response and advice. I currently have the Chi Kung fundamentals 1-4 , Fusion I II III, and Lesser Kan & Li. I am taking my time with the latter material. I have some of Chia’s material also; as well as DaMo material by Hu Xuezhi. I really like the DaMo, it seems to be a traditional lineage. However, it is not a laypersons practice. What I like about Winn is his ability to effectively explain these systems in an uncomplicated manner.
November 27, 2006 at 6:27 pm #19272Bak MeiParticipantI have studied parasites for some time. On the physical level, you have worms, protozoa, bacteria, fungus, yeast etc. You even have smaller parasies that infect the larger parasites (viruses, nematodes..)
Contrary to Modern medicine’s naive beliefs, these organisms are highly evolved, sentient, intelligent beings. They have the ability within their DNA to mutate and morph to meet any new extremes their environment present. This is exemplified by bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics, supergerms and the theory of pleomorphism. On the spiritual level, they can be very strong. My opinion is, if you present a home for them, they will come. After all, it is a cold world out there!! Once they come and make your physical body their home, it can be particularly difficult to get rid of them. Afer all, who wants to go out in the cold rain and snow when you have a nice cozy warm abode with lots of food and sex (parasites like to procreate)? In the amazon, a skilled curandero uses plants and plant spirits to heal a sick person. Their philoshophy is that these parisites are spiritual in nature and secondarily, have a physical manifestation as a worm, virus, fungus growing inside the body. Some diseases can be difficult to heal because these spiritual parasites try to hide. They are intelligent enough to know when they are being hunted and try to remain elusive. However, they can only hide for so long if the curendero is adept. typically, from what I have learned, STD’s like AIDS can take three times as long to heal in a person than things like cancer or diabetes. Minor afflictions can be healed in a few weeks, while the more evasive spirits like AIDS and herpes can take 6 months or more. Thsi is considered spirit medicine. It isnt jsut arbitrarily taking plants or herbs, it is enlisting the plant spirits help to fight of the insidious spirits.
My personal experience has show me a huge corralation between the insect kingdom and spiritual parasites. I had a loved one whose whole home became infested with moths. No matter what she did, the moths came back. She felt she was under attack form these moths and believed they where entities. I can personally verify that she was under attack to a degree. She eventually became very sick and died this past August. After she became sick, I took care of her for almost two years. She did have a strong parasite. I could feel it. I always could sense a third intelligence along with mine and hers. In the end though, this relationaship of host and parasite, which ended in her physical death, was good. It may seem strage to say that, but, I spent two years battling and fighting for her. It turned out to be futile. I didnt realize until the end that she had wanted to leave this world. She had made some sort of agreement and let this entity into her to help transform her. In this way, the parasit relationship was actually a symbiotic relationship. Now this is a much abbreviated version – I just wanted to share a little bit about “parasites”
