I also love the form and practice it regularly, no matter what other forms or practices I am learning or working on.

I don’t have experience with it yet, but at the higher levels of inner alchemy you deal with ancestral/karmic issues. I think it might be Greater or Greatest Kan & Li. Perhaps someone with more experience in this level can elaborate more. It takes a lot of dedication to get to that level though and is not a quick fix.

I like the term “actualization.” Apparently the Chinese don’t actually have a translation for “visualization.” You do it, you get it.

I have to say that is probably why I relate to MW so well. I can also see why some people don’t relate to him as well.

As MW puts in his email signature:

Life is very simple, but everyone seeks difficulty.”

Bruce Frantzis is definitely the real deal. I’ve only read his free materials and watched some short videos but I do get his emails. The mastery systems that he has developed all look like they are pretty intense and definitely very thorough.

frechtling replied to the topic Does healing tao teach telepathy between humans and interspecies communications? in the forum General 8 years, 12 months ago
In the Chi Nei Tsang book, there is a section about meditating to a tree and communicating with the tree, but it takes time and patience. I have never tried it, but thought it was interesting. Other than that I don’t know of anything. I think as you become more perceptive to subtle energy, you feel more of a connection to nature and animals,…[Read more]

frechtling replied to the topic Getting into Fusion 1 in the forum Practice 9 years ago
It can be as simple as you want it to be for a 20 minute session or dressed up with additional warmups and qigong for an hour session.
If you have not done so, I would recommend learning the Deep Healing Qigong set at some point; the “nourish the 5 shen/spiral love in the creation cycle” part is the qigong that Michael does with Fusion 1.…[Read more]

I would recommend getting Marie Favorito’s audio CD: Fusion 1 and 2 CD. Besides Chia’s book and Winn’s articles, that is how I learned it. I created a practice based on these three sources that I talked about on the forum here: Fusion 1 Practice and here: Fusion Practice Development. I plan to eventually get Winn’s audio, which I feel usually…[Read more]

Thanks for the info Steven. I’m considering adding some of the other postures, so would a few minutes in each posture be effective enough? Or is 5-10 minutes in each one recommended? A few years ago when I first learned them from the book, I used to do a few minutes in each posture.

Steven’s a rock star – he provides an invaluable service to this community.
I second the Tao Yin DVD, and also recommend getting Chia’s book as well. It goes into more detail about the energetics and has movements that aren’t on the DVD. The DVD, however, has movements that aren’t in the book.

I’m not familiar with that form, but MW does teach a form called swimming dragon on his sexual vitality qigong DVD, and it is also on YouTube:

I second that. Marie’s DVD is how I learned the set. Well produced and easy to learn. The producer Jamee even sends you a couple extras via email after you order.

I like the idea! Pretty soon though, some big pharma will get a hold of it and start marketing the “immortal probiotic” at a ridiculous price..

Thanks, that makes sense. I’ve never really worked with or connected with the stars much at all. I do notice the big dipper and Orion’s belt during the times of the year when it is dark during my morning jogs though.
