With respect to your Fusion issue: I don’t believe you are creating a new center and ignoring the tantien; rather, you are creating something WITHIN your tantien.

A few years back I got Marie’s CD and formulated my own MW practice based on the descriptions on the website. I had also read Chia’s Fusion 1 book, which has a lot of additional stuff which isn’t fusion (MW is clear about that). The actual practice is as basic as the CD (without her warmup chanting), but MW adds a lot of preparation which prepares you for the fusion practice. He also does the positive cycle prior to the negative cycle. My overall practice time ends up at about 45 min, with about a half hour of that being warm up. So to whittle it down you can just do the meditation, depending on how much preparation you want to do. The prep is basically all the QF 1 stuff (warmup, IS, 5A) plus the “spiraling qi in the love cycle” or whatever it’s called from DHQ, which he teaches in the Fusion 1 course. I am still planning to get the full Fusion 1 CD course from MW to deepen my practice, as I have not been meditating much in a long time and I feel it will motivate me much more. I would recommend trying it out and it may help you out.

September 28, 2016 at 3:00 pm #47130frechtlingParticipantSounds like we’re in need of some Steven Sy DVD sets!
August 16, 2016 at 12:45 pm #46865frechtlingParticipantViktor – thanks for referencing and sharing the mini-session I developed! I actually forgot all about it!
Since it isn’t linked, thought I’d share again for those too lazy to copy and paste:
Mini Chi Breathing/Grounding Session/Warmup
Enjoy!

May 12, 2016 at 3:43 pm #46549frechtlingParticipantThanks Ribosome, I am interested.

Hillary is the closest to the Republican “establishment” as it gets, she definitely has that in her favor.
Trump has the “angry people” who don’t really care about the garbage that comes out of his mouth.
May 12, 2016 at 1:13 pm #46567frechtlingParticipantNothing wrong with green tea, but I’m unsure of the quality of the brand they have at my office… I also drink yerba mate occasionally, which is nice.
We have one of the hot water taps on the coffee machine, and I refilled my cup with the same tea bag (left in while drinking) 2 more times and it was still delicious! I did 3/4 the second fill, and 1/2 the third.
May 11, 2016 at 10:54 am #46545frechtlingParticipantRibo – can you summarize the cliff notes for those who don’t have time to read and/or digest all of that?
April 22, 2016 at 2:58 pm #46418frechtlingParticipantI usually try chi self-massage, that comes in handy depending on the pain. It depends on what type of pain you are having. Sometimes movement helps, especially Tai Chi for knees and back, and hitting can help as well as long as it doesn’t make it worse. I don’t have experience with using the wire hitters, etc., I just use my fist/hands for joints and muscles.
April 13, 2016 at 11:32 am #46330frechtlingParticipantSteven – what do you take for vitamin C? As for probiotics, I drink homemade kefir everyday, which is fermented milk loaded in some of the best beneficial probiotics. I also regularly consume as many fermented foods as possible, such as sauerkraut, kimchee, and kombucha. I have plans to start culturing vegetables from my garden this year and eventually making a form of kombucha (fermented tea) called Jun tea (with honey and green tea instead of sugar and black tea).
