Thanks
I’ve done a form of Nei Dan for some time. And beyond the obvious health and spiritual benefits, things are just happening at an increasing pace “Karmically”
In reading about the Sun-moon and planetary alchemy, I just became aware of a kind of speeding up of two factors:
1. Internal
I experience alot of aches, pains and “problems”…[Read more] -

I apologize for bad grammar and spelling. Good thing english is not my native tounge. One thing I want to correct:”That doesn’t mean that the fundamental effort is NOT your own”. …more like what I wanted to say.
And ehem…there seem to be some mixup of “is” and “are”. Sorry…I blush. -

“While it is your stated experience that “your own effort and gong is not enough to really break the energetic patterns that created the problem.”
This may be your own self imposed limitation. Definitely not the thought pattern I would endorse to put into the field of a person engaging in the healing process.”I see your point, though I will…[Read more]

In dealing with a serious illness like cancer, the system has to jettison a vast amount of unecessary information. THis takes tremendous effort in the beginning.
The best way to start treating any cancer is getting a treatment from a qigong healer/master. In my experience, just relying on your own effort and gong is not enough to really break…[Read more]

hagar replied to the topic Practices for shoulder pain in the forum General 19 years, 2 months ago
A good way of releasing shoulder problems are slappin the shoulder and arms with an open hand, slapping all the way down the arm to the hand. Do this with the fingers together on the slapping hand.
Another great and easy (but challenging) practice is standing with your arms straight up, fingers pointing to the sky, imagining light decending…[Read more]

Hi
I have only studied with one qigongmaster, and I totally trust him.
As to your question, I guess we need to define the term “transmission”. Transmission can be found in any relationship. In watching anyone who has a “gong” in whatever field, either mentally, spiritually of physically, there is an underlying energetic process that is…[Read more]

Hi Keith
Interesting debate.
I have made some of the same reflections in my own practice. Just wanted to comment on what you wrote: The transmission of pure energy from a teacher is really really important. People can do these practices for decades with minor or no result, unless the fire of the master ignites your own. I witnessed this…[Read more] -

I attended a weekend retreat where we had 1 solid hour of wine tasting as part of the practice. Although the wine HAS to be St.Emillion, and red, wine clears the small intestine, which induces a clear and intelligent mind.
Ofcourse, all in moderation.
Well, not in Norway, though…

In qigong practice, exchanging and absorbing chi from nature is a common and important practice.
Tree qigong is a way of purifying and circulating one’s qi with the wood energy of the tree. In this sense, you connect with the wood element, wich relates to the liver, eyes and circulation of blood. Learn it from a teacher.

Basically the most effective way to collect chi is also the only way. Either fast or slow, it’s up to you. Here’s why:
1. Chi never really collects before you let go. So first you need to let go of whatever is blocking chi. That’s why you need some method like qigong.
2. Learn to be aware of the present moment. Practice being in the now. Chi…[Read more]
