Medical and Spiritual Qigong (Chi Kung)
Thanks Steven…Looking forward to them! Jesse
That does help. I’ll go and trust my “inner sage” to figure out how or whether to integrate the practices. Thanks for taking the time to respond. 🙂
Michael, I plan on attending the Lama Dorje Kunlun seminar in LA later on this month. One concern I have though is he says not to combine this practice with any other energetic practices in order to avoid creating a “third harmonic” that could be “extremely detrimental to your [my!] health.” Trouble is that I’m very attached to the Kan&Li practice. From what I’ve read though Kunlun sounds very similar. Some passages from Lama Dorje’s book: “When we breathe in and out the sun and moon channels are activated. This is a state of polarity. During Kunlun level one, breathing becomes less and less and eventually ceases as the sun and moon channels energetically collapse. When this occurs, the central channel activates and opens one up to a pure magnetic reality.” And also, “level two allows the experience of the consort within ourselves. We will nourish the Dragon Body of Bliss by the energetic union of the male and female polarity. This is the ‘inner’ mixing of fire and water, better known as the union of Kan and Li, or the merging of yin and yang.”
Do you know how his “kan and li” differs from the version you teach? What is your take on the importance of not mixing them? Thanks!
