6. Master Wang Liping, what is your opinion on the spreading of the Xiao Dao methods in the West? Does the Universal Tao/Healing Tao systems fit into that category also, as Xiao Dao methods? What are their benefits from your p.o.v as master and magician, are there things that need to improve?

this is my little list, bound to grow longer…
1. Could you give us 10 (ten) suggestions that would improve the experience of practice, and it’s results, for daoist practicioners? (5 do’s, 5 don’ts)
2. Could you give us 10 (ten) reccomendations that would improve our everyday life (family, sexuality, nutrition, environment)? (5 do’s and 5 don’ts)
3. Will Shen Laoshi or any of the editors/authors that publish on Longmen Pai, ever publish the books in English? (the Cleary version is lousy)
4. What would a person need to be and to do, to become a Student of him ?(not participant to a workshop)
5. Is it safe to practice outdoors in the winter? The lattitude here is 45 degrees, the same as Beijing…

i wouldnt give up searching for a teacher.i would enjoy more, and worry less…

I wonder what Winn is looking for in remote China.
People at his level have different priorities.
I hoped i could get an answer from him.
Anyways, what am trying to understand is what is behind this basic practices (that everybody runs away from).
I come to belive that when you understand the basics better, you can get a glimpse at what is beyound.I need to know, how people like Winn, Juan Li, Navarro set up their “study labs”, their fields of research. What are they nosing for. I see Winn goes to China quite often, but how about the others. And what do they study there.

I had the privilege of translating your post for my fellow members on the H.A.T forum. It is really something. I am doing a parallel search regarding the so called
Instant schools.
I think I finally got your point today. And I can say there is a lot of personal work to do, in order to fully appreciate a more mature vision.
I dont know if I have any smart comment or question, but your message surely deservese at least a couple of those.
All that I can think of is what I read in the HealingTao archives… regarding the fight against ego, and the fight against the body. The ego – they want to kill it, and the body – well, in years past, there was some discussion about the relief that one would experiment, if he would just cut his balls of. Funny as hell, one might say, but those guys were taking it – seemingly – pretty serious.
And I think I can put together now what Ive read on this forum, and I reffer especially to your answers to the “neo-buddhist rebellion” that you guys enjoyed more or less some time ago.So this is a little feedback, from little 1.
