The other thing about this kind of form is that the positioning of the body is sometimes quite subtle and I am not exactly sure whether a small hand movement is intended and so on. And this gives me the feeling that maybe I am not doing it right.

Martial arts are not very useful if someone smashes a bottle over your head in a bar. Aggression is not often set up like an official boxing match with someone announcing that trouble is going to start, and a hot chick in a bikini walking around with a sign saying which round it is.
And at the same time if some pushes you in the queue to the…[Read more]

If you think it needs “endurance” then you are doing it wrong.
You should be relaxed, calm, grounding, deepening.
If you go into soldier mode, stop. Because you are training the wrong thing, you train your insensitivity and endure.
And this is totally the wrong direction.
Also, if you have been doing it for several months and are…[Read more]

Who says it is premature ?
Who is complaining ?
Go to sleep and don’t worry so much.
Enjoy your life.If your lady is complaining then make sure she has an orgasm first, easy. The you have yours and then you have a nice cuddle and go to sleep.

It’s very narcissistic to assume that ONLY you are the real soul.
And it is also very narcissistic to assume that YOU are the real soul.
Especially as the perennial wisdom is that YOU are false, until a great transformation occurs in you; your death leads to the awakening of the soul … resurrection. Most people these days skip this part.

Interesting stuff.
I am interested now in moving beyond training, to direct contact with the reality and letting it teach you.
If you seek to buy these books -which look good, good people- then you are doing something different to my interest.
I am interested in sinking into the environment, disappearing into it, merging with it. Perhaps…[Read more]

This reminds me of something I just read from BKF : he was talking about dissolving practice, and the difficulty of dissolving some blockages … that they through out a lot of “stuff”. And he was talking about not having an agenda.
Just working, if you have a reaction like fatigue or negativity, you fully accept the presence of these elements…[Read more]

I think this is quite common.
The best advice may be to try some different approaches and do what works for you, not everyone will respond to the same approach.
I can suggest some things you can try :– try to increase the amount of time doing healthy things, from walking in nature, to doing chi kung, meditation, spending times with…[Read more]

If a clear answer is not forthcoming, perhaps there is not one available.
One possibility is to collect together your questions, and spend half an hour experimenting on yourself and trying to find out what you would like to know.
What is the difference between pouring the cauldron onto the top of the head or through the forehead ? What…[Read more]

Well, you talk about ignoring the context.
This thread is about chi in the environment, an interesting subject.
You ignore it, and hunt around for another problem you can “give advice” about.
The alternative I suggest to you, is communicating without agenda, being present. Then actually these discussions might be interesting.
If you…[Read more]

Hey relax, no big deal.
I am just giving you a different perspective since you seem so desperate to cast the threads as needing your “help” !!
Openly discussing things is great, it’s great to share and we are all in this together.
