That’s fine. People “make it work” all the time.
If people choose to do that, then that’s their business. But what I take issue with, is this idea because that somehow the rest of the population that doesn’t want to perform this juggling act, therefore has flawed thinking and is only concerned with themselves. I would argue that a lot of…[Read more]

Did you watch the “Wealth Inequality” video clip I put in the first post?
You are right. It is a choice. It’s a very easy, logical, and rational one.
Why would anyone be excited to work–living paycheck-to-paycheck–just to support children you don’t get to see because you are too busy working to provide for the household?
One income…[Read more]

But very few people actually have such a nice setup.
For the most part, it is no longer supported by society.

Unless you are one of the rare few people that is simultaneously wealthy enough to support both you and your spouse on one income AND the non-working spouse wants to take care of the child instead of having a career, you would have to be an idiot to want a child.
If both parents are working, who is going to take care of the child?
The kid…[Read more]

Steven replied to the topic Some discord between different Tao lineages in the forum General 11 years ago
One: Like Christianity, there are many different versions of Daoism out there. Many folks in a particular branch like to think their understanding is somehow superior.
Two: As one’s “credentials” increase, so often does the ego as well.

Steven replied to the topic mantak and michael differences in the forum General 11 years ago
That depends on a lot of things.
If an instructor was a student of M. Chia, what version of Fusion they learned, depends on when they learned it from him. Moreover, some of his students want to preserve his original teachings and teach only those; some want to stay up-to-date and only teach his most recent versions; some want to be careful…[Read more]

It would take a book to itemize all of the differences.
Here are just a few guidelines:
1. Michael has taken most of the alchemical meditations, and then either found–or created–qigong sets whose practice effectively does the alchemy for you.
To me, this is probably his number one greatest contribution and is the most valuable. For…[Read more]

It depends on which year of the recording you have, where it is located.
On the 2008-2011 versions, he starts talking about it a little on Disk 1,
and spends much of Disk 2 talking about it. I think a recording of the actual practice is maybe in the middle of Disk 4. Disk 5 is the recording of the new edition with the dragon.Just listen…[Read more]

Some might argue that the reason for this is because toward the end of the form you wish to invoke the alchemical powers of Lesser Kan and Li. Consequently, when you get to the end of the form, you need to have primal water over primal fire (also this is why you put a red pearl in the lower dantian, instead of kidney blue). Therefore, the…[Read more]

It is always dangerous to hear things second- and third-hand. You never know exactly what was true, and what was embellishment. I.E. Was testicle/breast massage simply discussed, done but done with the clothes on, or was it done where people exposed their genitals and breasts?
The other issue is that, in any venue, whether it is a priest, a…[Read more]

Steven replied to the topic Will DNA Tests Improve your Health? (article) in the forum Practice 11 years ago
If we believe as Healing Tao practitioners that even our DNA itself is possibly open to change, I think such testing actually acts as cross-purposes to our goals. If you identify a particular DNA sequence as “you”, it makes it more difficult to shift to a new reality where “you” have a different DNA sequence. This locks you in to the particular…[Read more]

OK, but this is not Iron Shirt or Healing Love, which is what I thought you were asking about.

Interesting.
I wonder if this is the reason I had such a strong reaction to the sun-gazing practice the first day of Greatest K&L. Subsequent sessions really didn’t have an effect; it was just the first one. I wonder if the reaction was a pineal gland detox. . . S -

If you are talking about any of the workshops that Master Chia himself offers, then the answer is no. There is no disrobing. Everything is done fully clothed. Any explanations are verbal, backed up with diagrams that Master Chia has on a slideshow presentation and/or props. Any qigong that is done, is done fully clothed, no contact.

Welcome to the world of the Healing Tao.
