Try signing in again at the top of the Articles page. If that doesn’t work, sign in again on homepage. Then email me if neither works.
I just tried and the articles pages are functioning beautifully for me.
Maybe its the chi-odometer I installed, to screen out China-based spam?

Michael Winn replied to the topic sexual chi kung in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
Most people relax and release their chi when they are in water. So it is great for that. If you are trying to absorb someone else’s chi, the water could be a distraction. But that is a general rule, and much depends on skill and one’s purpose in love-making.

Michael Winn replied to the topic Tao T-Shirts – any plans for having XL size? in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
When I re-order T shirt, I usually get a couple of XL in each model. Which one are you wanting? The XL usually sell at the summer retreats. Most of the stock is up there, so if you call during first week of retreats to retreats registrar you could get first dibs on it.
Does this mean your Chi Belly is growing?

Michael Winn replied to the topic Carl Sagan on LSD, Broca's Brain, and the Brahmin: Is Primordial better than God? in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
I agree, this is a worthy topic. What religionists call God in my opinion is related to the creative functioning of Original Jing-Chi-Shen, and does not represent the Life Force itself, which is way more primal.

There won’t be military war between the the Big powers like China and US – the side effects of high tech large scale war today are not economic for either side.
The war instead today IS ECONOMIC. And yes, China and the US have each other by the balls. China needs our markets and our food, we need their deflationary cheap labor to off set our…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Maharishi in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
I have no judgments about Mahirishi and wish him well on” his” (meaning whatever integrated) continuing journey, he is part of US, humanity.
I am grateful to him for inspiring the Kaplans to build Heavenly mtn, not knowing at the time it was partly to support the Healing Tao. I am sure TM got many people moving on their path, despite its…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic How necessary is practice? in the forum Practice 17 years, 2 months ago
Great question, thorny, the kind I expect from a wily coyote.
and lots of great answers.
I think it comes down to the question, what is the difference between “practice” and “spontaneous experience”?
the former seems to imply some level of intention/personal will. Yet the very purpose of intentional qigong and neidangong practce is to…[Read more] -

thorny,
pull your head out of the sand. Governments may go broke, but the profit is made by corporations, as the excellent War is a Racket piece so nicely spells it out.

Michael Winn replied to the topic Maharishi in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
Thanks. this is good news for heavenly mountain, where we hold our retreats. After the Kaplan brothers fell out with him and kicked the TM meditators off the magnificent North Carolina center (where they had invested milions) – Maharishi put a curse on the Kaplans, which partly fell onto their property.
This is typical Hindu guru behavior, by…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Neuro-Theology: Can Magnetic Fields Cause "God on the Brain"? in the forum Philosophy 17 years, 2 months ago
Good point. Early Heaven refers to pre-womb field of consciousness. But physical womb time of 9 months is the “pre-natal” state of transition between formless and form. So chinese medicine and cosmologists might use them differently.
I happen to totally agree with you on the semi-potency of the primordial. It has a primal awareness, but not…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Ludwig Von Mises: Our Economy is Doomed (Yin-Yang Financial Cycle) in the forum Philosophy 17 years, 2 months ago
Economic dependency prevents the asians giants from cashing in their dollar chips. They have no where else to put them. So instead they will slowly try to convert them into commodity wealth. Stability in China is dependent on buying food from the USA. The apple cart is too delicately balanced to be upset by any quick moves.
you don’t need to…[Read more]

Thorny,
I suggest you read Under One Sky by Rafi Nasser (kan & Li student). He decided to “blind test” astrology, and got top astrologers from 12 major western schools to give a reading on the same person’s chart given to them. That person wrote up their life history, without knowing about any of the readings, and put all the dates…[Read more]

the question is not why I visit China, but why you moved there in the first place. As i recall from your introduction on my china dream trip, you had fallen in love with at least a half dozen waitresses before one realized this foreign devil might have more money than her…..:) -

I think its an interesting link you are raising. I would view the Sacrifice issue, from Taoist viewpoint, as originating with the Sacrifice of great Stellar “Spirit like Pangu who bound themselves into form/earth, i.e. they sacrificed a greater range/freedom of vibration in the formlessl in order to hold a space in form so that other Beings, like…[Read more]

Thanks for posting this. Most people will not be able to make much sense out of this science, except to marvel at the anomalies of tornados.

Michael Winn replied to the topic Question for Michael re. Gnosticism in the forum General 17 years, 2 months ago
The more esoteric you get, the more similarities you will find between schools/different cultures. The principles necessarily are similar, but the methods themselves seem to vary widely. I’ve haven’t gone deep into gnosticism, except for the influence Atlantean alchemy practices may have had on it. That book is still forthcoming once I find time…[Read more]

I have been tracking back its Origin what that “guidance from the neutral/Original Self” might have felt like. Michael Winn replied to the topic The Strange World of Psychopaths (Article): Shen Disturbance? in the forum Philosophy 17 years, 3 months ago
This is an open question – whether excessive detachment reduces feelings and qualifies as a kind of psychopath, which as we saw in previoius article, are often very successful people. Are “successful meditators” who get very removed from daily life in this category?
Your thoughts?
