Bagua,
You are once again instigating arguement with your opinions and Chan views. NOW is time in the present, but as I have already said, and you continue to claim that this is not Daoist, that time is simply space vibrating as linear time, cyclical time, and eternal time.
All three co-exist and DO occur simultaneously just like jing, qi, and shen. Early heaven is, in my particular view, the next dimension, which shen inhabits as it is a form of light vibrating too quickly to be seen in this dimension or later heaven. Postnatal heaven is the cosmos consisting of stars, moon, planets, etc. This is a Daoist cosmological view because it relates to yin-yang or negative, neutral, and positive.
Also, what you say about people not benefiting from Michael’s formulas is falsely inaccurate as from what I hear from him, many of his students are getting good results which is why they continue the formulas until the very last, otherwise they would have quit right after fusion. I think this makes sense.

Thanks for sharing you have never learned M. Chia’s Alchemical formulas and have studied his Smile and have never studied or practiced Michael’s presentation. practice.
Fajie, is Dao Cosmology linear?

March 21, 2006 at 1:12 pm #11908FajinParticipantBagua, I know what you’re getting at. Just because I did not start these formulas yet, it does not mean that I don’t know about Daoist cosmology. Daoist cosmology includes linear, cyclical, and eternal aspects just like yin-yang itself which I have explained for the 1000th time. They do exist in the NOW, but experiencing them is different.

NOW is beyond time, please read Tao Te Ching again.Faj

This next dimension can only occur in the NOW.
Read Tao Te Ching and Lao Zi’s veiws on “distuingushing things”Faj

If you are going to quote me, please be accurate.
I did not say people did not benefit from what michael teachers, I said I dont think people are getting the results stated in the descriptions of the formulas, the greatest kan and li, planetary and Heaven in Earth, this is different that getting benefits from doing Qi Gong and meditating. DO you understand the difference?bagua

I think that you are wise but you depend too much on tao te ching, such dependancy causes your mistranslation and perhaps a “how to live your life” book came as a result of it.
I just want to share with you my personal view of what NOW is not based on doctrine or dogma or daoism, but what I have discovered through my realization of the Dao.
NOW is what is happening right now. Right now I am typing this message to you, but by the TIME I finish typing it, you will be and are currently reading this right NOW. Therefore, what is NOW to me while I am typing this, is NOW to you while you are reading this. So, time has elapsed because you cannot be simultaneously reading this while I am typing this at the same exact moment, unless you can see the future and already know what I am typing right NOW.
In that case scenario above, the linear time was shown. Although, not just the linear time on this physical plane occured, cyclical time and eternal time also occured on that same very moment in the NOW and are occuring every single moment of your concsious being, why I say that time is a moment of concsiousness. This is not theory, models, formulas, but as you can see for yourself right NOW, it is my realization of time.
The next dimension, and all dimensions are occuring every moment, so yes, it is occuring right NOW. There is no need to consult your bible, the Tao Te Ching, on this one.
I apologize for misinterpreting you about the benefits of the formulas, but you have also misinterpreted me in regards to what I have learned from Mantak’s and Michael’s material so I believe we are even.
Keep spinning Bagua, I want to keep discussing with you and see where this might end. Btw, my board name is not Fajie, you can call me Faj for short or Fajin, don’t know what Fajie indicates.

I just hope you learn something from what I am saying. I get the impression that you think you are the more wiser and experienced adept than I, and so what I say is somewhat inferior. Let me know, how do you see me when you discuss with me?

The basic issue I have with your use of language is that you are glossing over large areas and making very general statements (“Taoists don’t split life like this”-which daoists are you referring to??????? every single one that has existed???).
It is true that all levels of jing-qi-shen-wu exist now (whatever “NOW” means because they all have a simultaneous reality that IS different, otherwise why even bother creating terms for them?), but if we could experience this through instant realization, then are we actually experiencing the reality of each level or are we simply saying this as an intellectual concept in the physical plane?
I have experienced a definite shift through my meditation practice, of assembling my center of consciousness (“my inner earth”) first in the physical plane in the early stages, and now somewhere between the physical and the formless. I am trying to make these points because it is what I have experienced. If I experienced instant connection to the ultimate reality of wu ji (“beyond limit”) and all points in between simultaneously in each moment then I would not feel the need to practice.
Different levels of consciousness (the sun, people, our own shen, etc.) influence us depending on our intention to access them, and our skill and ability to communicate with their deeper levels. Sure, we are being influenced by all things in each moment (because we are all one) but their level of influence will vary drastically according to the amount of free will and intention directed towards them, and how they are communicated with.
The value of process-oriented formulas is that they reflect the constant refining and alchemical nature of the life force: the life force is not static and fixed, and likewise the formulas reflect its dynamic nature, and OUR dynamic nature (which are all one 🙂 but because of the necessity of the relationship between the unknown source and the myriad things, they are in constant dynamic flow like water crashing down a waterfall. The art is in learning to ride this surging wave and enjoy constant change in each moment.
The fact that some students practicing these formulas may seem stuck might reflect on the level of personal resistance they have encountered and are working through. Do you consider your self perfectly balanced in a state of “all one”, or are you working through a process of balancing the life force in each moment?
