Hi Wendy, my title was sarcastic, not the content. The world is in turmoil and it is a very emotional time. Sorry to cause you more stress.
I think we agree that evil men celebrate the death of an enemy. But I think it is reasonable to celebrate victory, freedom and life.
Armed freedom is a philosophy of wanting peace, but being prepared to defend life.July 27, 2006 at 1:40 pm #15673
“I understand that violence will forever be a part of human civilization.”
What does that say about who we are, what we are, and what we are doing here? If we truly believed this we would have ended this whole thing a while ago. NO we choose to make a go for it. We said we can bring peace on earth.
I would recommend a martial art, like Aikido, Jujitsu, Bagua. You might start out wanting to defend your self. But after years of putting in so much time and energy and never ounce getting in to a fight. You might come to find that you have gained something much grater, something that will have a lasting affect on your self, family, and the community. You might come to find that you no longer fear death, that you feel like you can adapt and change with life. If there are tuff times in life you can relaxe into them. You have learned to accept the pain that comes with some one pointing out your weaknesses. You learn that you can only take that whitch is given. Later in life you will start to feel in your body the lesson that there is no winers in a fight. The lose of energy and time can not be taken back. You will learn that all martial arts is about proper relationship and that fights are nothing but a dance. It was your fear that made you see differently before. But the fear is gone. You know that there is a center that can never be touched, and the expression of this is your greatest defence. It needs no words, it is your cultivated essence.
I will say this about the Jewish race. They are our choosen poeple. They have a great task. Just like if you are at your job and you are choosen to do something, it is usually not to do something that everyone wants to do. Look at there history. This is why I say I do not envy there task. They have the power that if every thing is falling down around them they build shops and play music. This is a story of the persitance, and evolution of human civilization. This power has been envyed, and not fully realized thourgh out our time on earth. They could bring peace on earth. They could change the way we structure our societies. Hopefully they will come to realize they are not about law but of acceptance. We often do not like what we see in the mirror.July 27, 2006 at 1:45 pm #15675
“Armed freedom is a philosophy of wanting peace, but being prepared to defend life.”
I love simplicity.July 27, 2006 at 2:05 pm #15677
Seriously I still don’t get it…. what kind of ‘freedom’ are you talking about that you need to defend?
I am not coming to the US because they are too eager of having my DNA in their computers…(sort of speaking of course, I am not an interesting subject for the US gov) but nevertheless it is my personal little statement!July 27, 2006 at 3:17 pm #15679
A link for an article by Dennis Lewis was just posted on the TB forum – and it’s very much relevant to this thread.
oh – and just to make a point on the “Armed Freedom” concept. To me this sounds like a joke – something they’d have on Team America. To be free is to be vulnerable – no way round it.July 27, 2006 at 6:01 pm #15681
So you laugh at the philosophy of Armed Freedom, and then link to a letter that discusses the Peaceful Warrior? (Interesting book by the way).
A warrior is the epitome of controlled compassion & controlled violence.
A warrior learns how to defend before the attack.
A warrior continues to develop the skills of his trade without end.
A warrior’s profession is war, his product is peace.
It can truly be said that the art of war is really the art of peace. War and peace are like yin and yang: neither is complete without the other.July 27, 2006 at 6:16 pm #15683
Bagua would be my martial art of choice. Way off topic, but have you ever watched “The One” with Jet Li? Multiple universes, so Jet Li fights himself at the end. What’s really cool is that one Jet Li uses Yi Chuan, while the other uses Bagua. Straight lines versus circles. Very fun! Bagua wins of course.July 27, 2006 at 7:00 pm #15685
Yeah I am a martial arts movie nut. So yep I have seen it. I got turned on to martial arts when I was young watching Bruce Lee. Smiling to the Bruce.:)July 28, 2006 at 12:21 am #15687
i ask these questions from a mutual standpoint out of curiosity.
max >>I would say “jewish” race by the design attracts alien souls but it’s only for the pure blood jews.<>but by their genetic qualities<<
no disrepect to jews, but…genetic qualities?…….such as?
i have 2 brothers in law. one is australian aboriginal and the other is liberian. now there's some genetic quality. fit, strong, adaptable, lungs of steele etcJuly 28, 2006 at 2:36 am #15689
We choose them they choose them selves. Who are you? Yes there is karmic groups that need completion. You choose this life you choose to come here. Why? You choose races, linear time, your body. Why?
In india there where groups that killed babys, there where groups around the jews that did the same thing they worshipped baal. Count less acts of gental mutilation and rape in africa. Millions died of starvation in china. The list goes on and on though out our history.
So why do you focus on the jews?
Every race is special you just happen to be talking about the jewish race.
You can call me crazy.
But what if I told you could talk to differnt intelligences five to be exact that live and work inside of you and these guys help you manifest on earth. I will also tel you that you can talk to them and work with them through collor balls inside your body. What if I told you that there is no reincarnation there are no past lives, because there is no death. In fact this is it,right now, here in the now all your “past lives” and “future lives” are here right now. But I have no proof of this.July 28, 2006 at 2:47 am #15691
“They are indeed the rulers of this planet by design- not by their inteligence or spiritual accomplishments, but by their genetic qualities.”
Genetics I believe to be a tool of the “spirit” it has multidimensional qualities. It is why it is important to smile to our cells. To show intent to the DNA. It is a tool that I think is yet to be fully explored. Yell that is my limmited understanding of it.July 28, 2006 at 3:10 am #15693
To think that war is the way to peace is insane. If you prepare for war you are creating it energetically. This is simple quantum meta-physics.
Freedom is an internal state and has nothing to do with what is happening externally.
The term “peaceful warrior” is a contradiction in terms, as is “armed freedom”. A peace-filled person does not war or prepare for war. One who wars is one who sees duality and conflict possible everywhere and engages in it to continually recreate his/her ego identity. One at peace does not see “others” as others, but as fellow parts of the divine self expressing individually. By not trying to avoid danger, he/she steps out of its path naturally.
It is our unresolved issues of separation from the source that lead us to believe we are endangered by others and must be ready to defend ourselves. We look dangerous to each other when we fail to see the oneness. Our fears make us see things that are not there and make up viewpoints about the world based on the insanity of those fears. “Guarding your freedom” is a highly stressful, and delusional, position to be in. If one is “armed”, just in case, then one is in fear. It is unwise to tell yourself you are at peace and free when you are really frightened and defensive.
About eighty years ago Mahatma Gandhi took a trip to the far north of India to visit some tribes who were on the border. They were pro-India militants and had amassed a great arsenal with which to protect their country. When they proudly displayed their weaponry to Gandhi he said: “You must be very frightened.”
The planet Mars took on an abberated astrological definition a few thousand years ago and is still too often mistakenly referred to as the planet of war. In fact, Mars represents masculine energy and the ability to act, and is associated with the heart which has so much exuberant energy that it unflaggingly pumps our blood. It is common in certain circles now to hear Mars being referred to as “the peaceful warrior” as if joyful movement through life had anything to do with fighting. It is exactly the opposite. Pure positive energy does not recognize “enemies”. Rocks do not appear to water as “problems”. Birds do not “fight” a strong wind to stay aloft.
The terms yang and yin have nothing to do with war and peace as they have nothing to do with the ideas of good and bad. They are polarities like a pendulum describes with its motion from one side to the other creating balance. War is not the opposite of peace. Peace is in the middle with “flight” and “fight” on either side of it. Flight is contraction from supposed danger. Fight is expansion against it. Both are the reactive products of fear. Peace is the state of knowingness at the center in which there is harmony.
The Way knows nothing of fighting and takes its strength, as Freeform has pointed out, from its vulnerability.
The highest good is like water.
Hold fast to the center.July 28, 2006 at 4:44 am #15695
Well said and I agree, for that reason I will cross US borders only when there is an inner call to do so. I am not fixed on ‘my little opposition’ but it can flow and change as it needs to, as it serves my change I cross any border….July 28, 2006 at 5:15 am #15697
I agree with Max, I can’t explain because I can not show any evidence for it but in my understanding the Jewish race has a specific programming and is very well aware of it, they have a supremacy in their programming by which they force their programming on to the rest of the world, both like water (underground way) and fire (action). It is more like a curse, I both pitty them and look with great precaution to their actions. And I agree as well that it will a very difficult task for them and the rest of the world to balance this out.
Yelling and screaming like Ron is a way of expressing his inability and frustration to make a change, well Ron you can’t, no matter how hard you yell…
If you like to exterminate them all it will be the end of this planet, if we allow them to act out their programming, it will be the end of this planet as we know it, which is already happening, so again be still and pray/meditate and wish them all the wisdom and courage to overcome their programming, a difficult task… ‘supremacy’ is blinding the eye of self reflection, a great danger.July 28, 2006 at 6:06 am #15699
