Thank you Steven for your answer. You said in another post that iron shirt should only be learned in the summer. Does this apply to iron shirt level one too, or just the higher levels? i think i’m going to take a fusion one through three with iron shirt 1 course (three different seminars over three months) this summer from a person who lives closer to me. but i’m also considering switching to a raw food diet. do you think they might mix poorly, being that switching to raw food has a two week detox period, and iron shirt will require (but also build?) energy?
thanks

>>>Does this apply to iron shirt level one too,
>>>or just the higher levels?I think you misunderstood me. What I meant was,
the senior instructors usually only offer the
Iron Shirt courses over the summer (at the HT retreats).
So a person with an interest in Iron Shirt should
consider taking the offered courses over the summer
while they are available–and defer other courses
they might be interested in that are offered more
frequently to another time. There is nothing wrong with learning Iron Shirt at
other times of the year. In fact, the rooting/standing
postures of Iron Shirt 1 can be more powerful in
winter actually, as everything is naturally descending
into stillness anyway. This is part of the reason why
Michael offers QF3-4 in December, as QF4 is like a
simplified intro to Iron Shirt course.>>>i think i’m going to take a fusion one through three
>>>with iron shirt 1 course (three different seminars
>>>over three months) this summer from a person who lives closer to me.Iron Shirt helps with Fusion. This is one of the reasons
for the rudimentary Iron Shirt in QF4, and one of
the reasons why during the summer retreat programs
the Iron Shirt/Fusion courses are blended. Iron Shirt
can sometimes be a little too physical, while Fusion
can use some of Iron Shirt’s grounding, so the two
courses mix well. In other words, your course sounds
just fine to me.>>>but i’m also considering switching to a raw food diet.
>>>do you think they might mix poorly, being that switching
>>>to raw food has a two week detox period, and iron shirt
>>>will require (but also build?) energy? Are you vegetarian/vegan currently? One of the good things about
meat is that it helps to ground your energy. Iron Shirt 1
is designed to help ground your energy–so in fact, learning
Iron Shirt 1 would actually help you in such a transition.
If you start feeling ungrounded during any detox, you can do
Iron Shirt 1 to help your difficulties. Now Iron Shirt 1 can
trigger emotional detoxes, but doing the fundamentals (i.e.
Inner Smile, Healing Sounds, Orbit) as well as any Fusion
that you start learning can defuse that.Personally, if I’m detoxing, I use Iron Shirt and grounding
qigong to help stabilize myself. Hope that helps, StevenMarch 29, 2009 at 2:54 am #30948Swedich DragonParticipantMarch 29, 2009 at 2:58 am #30950Swedich DragonParticipantHello
Suddenly my pearl changed color to black for several orbits. Then it wanted to stop for a long time in the jade pillow where it kind of wached up to be more white but transparant. (Dont find the right world, but a typical pearl color)
At the moment this happened I had worked to much hand have had other bid stressors in my life. I did also carrie around quite heavy books. So I got a tension in the C7 point and the jade pillow. ( mostly the points, but the whole nech are was tense)

deep kidney color. There are other possibilities
for black, but since you said you had been mentally
stressed and physically fatigued, I think the
kidney is likely . . . SMarch 30, 2009 at 12:11 pm #30954Swedich DragonParticipantHello Steven
I was thinking about that way. Thanks for your input. I relate my health problem as you migth now to lack of yang qi in the kidney.
I am totaly new to fusion and have not read much theory. Can you please help me sort out if there is any meaning with this:
If you say it is the deep kidney color. Has it any meaning that the pearl took that color and then get wached? Is it a positive sign of anything that happens on a deeper level? I’m so curious!

Do you mean washed? watched? I’m a little confused
as to what you mean here. The fact that it started out as a color infused
by kidneys and it drained away, could mean a number
of things. It could be trying to let you know that
you are draining your kidneys away too much, or that
you are running out of reserves. Last time I
notice color draining away from a qi ball, it was
when I felt really fatigued, and it occurred a day
or so before I began getting sick. It could also
just mean that qi needed to be relocated to
a new area. There are actually all kinds of other
possibilities too, and it depends on the situation
and the person. The only way to *really* know is
to ask yourself and see what you feel. That will
be the answer. So, in other words, what do YOU
think it means? YOU are really the only one
that can answer your question.>>>I relate my health problem as you migth now

This is the kidney reserve that gets depleted through
excessive yang (i.e. overworking yourself). Have you
tried adding pure Goji juice to your diet? It’s an
excellent kidney builder.S

I think so beacase it felt realy good to make the pearl clean and to wach away the black from it. Your both sugestions seems ok to me as interpretations though. I don’t think I need to mentally know the an exact interpretation. It seems interesting to me that the color apeared and pointed out a problem. Or perhaps somthing happened that tried to heal the kidneys. During the last week of owerwork the kidneys realy did hurt and I had some problems with cleaning the white board, pain in the lumbar related to the kidneys.
Actually I had another pearl the other day. The pearl was wery big, like several inches, but quite empty without color or pale, except there was a wery small center with a dark or blackish color. Havent tried to interpretate it jet.

I haven’t tried Goji juice, sounds interesting to me at this moment in my working with myself. My homeopaths want me to take away all my medications, herbs, hydrocortisone, thyroid, vitamins, adreanal cell extract. Have to ask them about the Goji, is it sould at this website?

Goji is a healing food supplement.
See the attached link (off the Healing Tao website).March 31, 2009 at 12:37 am #30962Swedich DragonParticipantApril 15, 2009 at 12:58 pm #30964Swedich DragonParticipantHello
I have been doing the fusion with the pearl during my buss ride to work. Quite long practise time compared with what I do at home most of the time. Today after a period with wery litle practises, I had a very nice feeling of warmth in the dan-tien at the end of the practise during rotation at the navel area. Not that I not get warm atherwise, it was just that this time there was realy much more heat in the tan-tien. A much more living and nice and much more warm feeling. I liked it alot and it gives encouragement for more practises the coming days I think.
What is new is that I started today to take in energy from the sides of the tan-tien or body during the pakua pearl exercise. Perhaps the pearl did get a bit more energy then, I don’t know.

April 15, 2009 at 4:12 pm #30968DamonMParticipantThanks for sharing that, as I am planning on taking my first fusion class this summer at the retreat and look forward to these practices.
This only adds to the excitement. How long do you tend to practice these fusion practices?
Also are you doing all three fusion formulas or do you tend to focus more on one?
Damon.

“””””””””””””””””””””””””””Hello, sounds greate. I have been practising in this system since about the year 2000, but am new at the fusion practises. Am quite a slow developer in the system I think. Unfortunately I have no teachers were I live and I learn from a book together with my yoga group consisting of 4 girls, I’m a male. We follow the two practising books by Yudelove.
Well I have teachers but all three of them have changed to the thunder path and do not have classes at the level I need realy. Except one of them doing some tao-yin I plan to follow when I have time. I myself do a white tigress course with Hsi Lai ower the internet for the moment and it’s enough to learn for me at the moment.

“”””””””””””””””””””””””””””Do you mean how long my practise sessions is? Well if so, I can’t realy say some general time, but between 20 to 40 minutes, together with some other stuff. Sometimes much shorter sessions also, like 5 minutes. Sometimes longer, during my travel.

Perhaps you should talk more to the others about the fusion practises. I am completely new at it and I am following the book at a rather slow tempo. From what I can see we will learn from fusion 1 only, in the book we follow. The only thing I do from fusion so far is to create the pearl with the help of the pakuas and rotate it in the microcosmic orbit. There will be more works with the feelings in the five organs later and with ballancing fire from heart with water from kidneys or tan-tien region, I think. But from this small experience I have with fusion I’m excitet to and realy love to go into this practise. So far has the start with the pearl been much exciting and seemed to turn the practise into a higher level, as I descibed in the other post and from other exeriences as well.
I have just done this for about two-three months. If you do the summer retreate you will pass me and have more experience with this practise than I have. I love to hear about your experiences later, we can share with eachother.
Let the qi be be ballanced within you

Some people get through ALL of the formulas in a
few years, but then need to go back to strengthen
their foundations. Spending a lot of time at a
certain level and slowly moving forward gives you a
depth that others may not have. In other words,
don’t think that your rate of progression makes

and you can take it quite deeply.S
