as far as trusting my own somewhat eccentric process. It is something to do with having settled into it in such a way that each problem becomes a solution. You’re right, reliability is the thing. It’s so very important to trust one’s instincts as to what is right. I straddle many disciplines and am constantly saddened at their inability to see…[Read more]

w/ the dragon you are talking specifically a part of the life force connected with the animal nature and the reptilian brain in a human being, a mechanism of evolution, not Michael’s ‘Life Force’ which is more general, a field associated with all consciousness; it’s a specific subset of the general to do with what drives it IMHO. j

>>Dragons are active on the aether/physical plane, read body/sexual/emotional level, transforming this into earthly magnetic power as well taking the above to a more refined level but then … it is not the end, just a warm up, a nice beginning of the journey into your own under-and upperworld! Dragons are earthbound and somehow recognizable for…[Read more]

… I’m now caught in the middle of the process still though, and in my case more than just myself is involved. Alot of what you say reminds of a lady called Susan Carlson, a kundalini expert. Dragon and kundalini are so closely related.
It’s very shamanic too, questioning one’s entire mode of being. They say that a shaman is often not allowed…[Read more]

>>the tao is too vast for any one form<<
I am just beginning a blog on magick and one my first post will touch on that.
How helpful it is to understand this! It is a matter of belief systems ultimately having so much to do with experience and the limits we place on it.
I don't know much about Wilber but would love to know anything about…[Read more]

… partic. the welsh flag and the ‘evil Chinese dragons’. In context of sex and death, the difference between slaying and saving becomes hard to see sometimes!
My only point was really that stereotypically in the west we ‘dislike dragons’ but this is not so. For starters walk down the fantasy section of any bookstore – you will find many more…[Read more]

… haven’t you noticed the big pro-dragon upsurge happening everywhere? Western-model dragons are being reinterpreted precisely as that – inner power and strength, beauty, etc. You won’t find a western wiccan who wouldn’t give their mum’s hind teeth to meet a dragon. Those St george-ish dragon-models were not universal even before now either -…[Read more]

… just to say, one’s experience does definitely depend on who one is in my opinion. And in my opinion ‘a philosophical world in which every position is of equal value and therefore no position is of any particular value’ sounds pretty cool. You’re giving the new age movement alot of credit for completely dissolving intellectual hierarchy,…[Read more]

… his brand-new book, out in June, ‘Animal Souls Speak’? This is a book he says is ‘channelled from animal spirits’ who talk about their soul purpose. I guess that I am interested in it because I also ‘channel animal spirits’, although I don’t really look at it like that. I wondered if anyone had read it. This subject is very personal to me and…[Read more]
