April 3, 2007 at 5:15 pm #21872OursinhoParticipantI believe that there are various acupuncture schools that proclaim themselves to be taoist. I graduated from one of them, the Tai Sophia Institute http://www.tai.edu which operates with the principle that we are all one. This school offers master degrees in acupuncture herbal medicine and applied healing arts. I think there is one in hawaii and one in north carolina as well. And I also would like to see more!
Blessings! This is the vision and mission of the school:
Vision
Rooted in nature and timeless wisdom, Tai Sophia Institute will be an anchoring academic institution for a global wellness community that enables all of us to practice the arts of living and dying.Mission
Tai Sophia Institute is a graduate school for the healing arts and sciences characterized by our values-driven learning community and our commitment to shape the future of healthcare through personal and public service. Our transformative and relationship-centered programs and services integrate the timeless wisdom of nature and ancient healing traditions with contemporary knowledge to develop practitioners and leaders capable of creating and sustaining individual and community wellness.
Values All members of Tai Sophia Institutes community faculty, staff, administration, and students will:
Operate from an acknowledgement and declaration of Oneness. Use nature and the rhythms of the earth as a guide in teaching our students and one another.
Foster and teach the deep sensory skills that allow us to observe ourselves and others.
Recognize that healing occurs in relationship and is more than the implementation of a treatment technique.
Continue our learning in the presence of one another, acting not as truth-tellers but as guides for mutual self-discovery.
Honor the individual gifts of each member of our community and hold one another in the highest possible regard.
Honor the diversity of all healing and philosophical traditions and build upon the common foundation that joins them at the deepest level.
Cultivate the next generation of teachers and leaders within the community to serve the mission and ongoing life of the institution.
Make all judgments and decisions in the context and light of the seven (past three, future three, and present) generations.
Ground all of our actions in honesty and integrity.
Cultivate the ability to observe ourselves and our intentions to enable us to take responsibility for our learning, actions, and well-being.
Be coachable: able to give, receive, and effectively respond to feedback.
Take the time to listen deeply to one another–making sure we hear one another and are being heard.
Consciously and courageously use our words, presence, and touch as instruments of healing–with deep respect, thoughtfulness, and compassion.
Hold healing in partnership with illness and death. Embrace all aspects of life as part of healing and health.
Acknowledge and engage in self-reflection and transformative practice as keys to healing and healing presence.
Recognize that there is no Tai Sophia independent of the individuals who make up the Institute.October 16, 2006 at 4:33 pm #18656OursinhoParticipantIf you truly wish peace upon the members of this board then I suggest you contribute large minded and constructive comments rather than insults.

Taoist secrets of love was the first book I read about the practice of taoist meditation. I learned a ton from the book and consider it very valuable as an introduction, and I think most of its methods work great. I am very happy and satisfied with everything that I have learned from Michael.

Simply think of the planets as extensions of the directions and the organs. They have the same elemental qualities in Toaism which IS different from other systems. They are also huge, many of them much bigger than the earth, and they are alive as is the earth, so COMMUNICATE with them, speak, invite. Mercury will have a watery aspect, jupiter wood, etc… I feel Jupiter as a huge green presence that comes in and completely envelops me. Each of the planets do this, they come in and envelop me if I invite them in. Use the tones from the greater Kan and li to call to the different directions, use the healing sounds and invite and allow the planets to come to you. Use primordial chi kung to invite the planets through the directions. As has been said this is a lot easier with the direct transmission of Michael in a live course. I think the advice of tuning into pictures is fine, and looking at the planets through telescopes also good if you can. And above all the greatest is an extension of the greater, going further out into space extending the vibration of the direction (element) to its next expression, planet. This is a big step to undertake on your own. Connect with the earths energy body and saturn’s energy body as explained in the Greatest CD’s (using a feeling of gravity) to increase the gravity of your center. Good luck.
April 14, 2006 at 12:52 am #12689OursinhoParticipantHi Jonathan,
What I suggest is to continue looking at the pronography and instead of ejaculating start breathing the sexual energy up your spine by inhaling 9,18 or 36 times focusing on your penis and rocking your pelvis forward on your chair as you do this to bring the energy up the spine. You can also breathe in golden earth chi from the ground and mix it with pink chi from your genitals and bring that mixture up your spine or in general up the body, then bring that to your brain and circulate that 9xs one way and 9x’s the other and then circulate that through the microcosmic orbit finally bringing it up to your kidneys from the perineum. Then repeat that cycle and bring it up to the liver, then spleen, then lungs and heart. Alternatively you can simply mix the sexual and earth chi and breathe it down to the center of the earth and back. Be sure NOT to ejaculate if you can help it. You will steadily have more energy and become more stable and can then choose what to do next. I suggest you also start practicing standing meditation perhaps in conjuction with fusion of the 5 elements to begin gaining more emotional control. I learned the sexual practice with pornography myself and currently don’t look at porn at all although I was quite addicted similarly to you. Best wishes,
