I have lived the same frustration you have in this process. The changes you seek will eventually come of thier own accord. Don’t try to force things. You have already experienced that letting go and giving control over to the life force is what works best. Congrats on the kundalini experience. I’ve never experienced it that intensely myself, mostly just a warm and tingly glow all over.
The best mind set is one of playfulness–“I’ll just play with this and see what happens”. It doesn’t hurt to ask for help from the life force or any helper being that might be willing to help. Whenever I’ve tried to force things nothing happens or it will initially start and then dry up.
Steven is right, this is a continuous process.

Good idea. I frequently do the healing sounds to and from work. It is amazing how the commute seems much shorter now.

I’ve never been drawn to solve environmental pollution. I’ve always been drawn to design spaecraft and spacecraft guidance equipment.

While still in bed I do the deep breathing, Inner Smile, and then open my heart up. Frequently I’ll rub my toes together as Mantak suggests.
When I get up I start the tendon work like you do, along with some chi packing.
I like to do part of the Medical Qigong form which involves directional breathing.
I usually transition to the Promordial form. This always improves my energetic balance and chi level. This form keeps getting deeper and deeper for me.
As time permits I do the K & L movement form “Gods Play In the Cauldron of original chi.”
During the day, even at work, I do the healing sounds quietly and periodically some chi packing/reverse breathing.
In the evening I like to do the lesser K and L forms.
Most of the time I do not have enough time to do all the Qigong I’d like to, expecially when my wife doesn’t understand what it’s all about.

December 21, 2008 at 7:45 am #29832skateParticipantYes this winter solstice did supercharge my Primordial Qigong, in the wee hours this morning! Thanks for the reminder. I was almost breathless during the energy flow.
Looks like I’ve been given a new and previously unexpected direction. I must admit though that I had been given a clue of this during lesser Kan and Li this summer.
One thing I can share is that when I completed the form and sat down to let the Life force reconfigure me I saw myself expanded out into a sphere and neutrally observing the earth and the moon, while the sun was warming the my backside. How very interesting.

I experienced what you are going through now, last year. I didn’t get any major release until I went into the Fusion series with Michael. It was almost as if my 5 shen didn’t take me seriously. Now the healing sounds are very effective and I do them frequently every day.
What did sometimes help was to relax for awhile, without any intention of hurrying or “forcing” a change. I smiled to the feeling that was bothering me and just accepted it for what it was, then I experienced a release. One of the most simple, yet underrated forms is the inner smile. When I get stuck, it is amazing how using the inner smile, will loosen things up.
We all have internal resistance at the shen level, and those resistances don’t want to give up their power. I finally realized that when taking Lesser Kan and Li this summer with Michael.

Have you been loosening up a bit prior to joining the pearls? Sometimes some shaking the tree and doing some deep breathing will expand out your energy body, where things will open up. The forms Blissful Breathing or Ocean Breathing will open you up quite nicely.
I would also recommend that you do the 5 Animals first/6 Healing sounds first, then the “Nuturing The 5 Shen” or perhaps the “Creating the Perfect Inner weather” forms. These help me to loosen things up.
Recently I’ve hit a brick wall in Fusion, so I backed off for awhile, and did something else to keep things fluid and spontaneous. My friends on this form have taught me many times to keep things playful and spontaneous. That’s the only way the shen and the life force will respond to me.
Something else that helps me is to take a minute and go through the inner smile, and then let the shen do their work!
