At least that’s my best guess. He’s painted himself into a corner. He’s got nothing left to say that isn’t (to us and even to him) so clearly bullshit that he’s reduced to this. Sad actually.

My experience with alcohol is that it tends to dull both mental and physical sensation. I can’t see how that would be a benefit to practice.
