There’s an increasing amount to agree upon..
I would agree that the inner smile and what MWinn calls “the neutral space” are the HT version of stillness practice, and that bringing well-blended energy into the deep-center of each tan tien facilitates the development of stable centers – which can increasingly serve as a bridge to individual ~…[Read more]

Its not just bad for students. It reflects poorly on the HT itself: If people don’t get good direction and results from the books, less likely that they’ll show up and pay $ for workshops, retreats, etc. It also is bad for instructors. Personally, with Chia’s writing material that bad, and Chia directing training of instructors, it doesn’t…[Read more]

Oh, puh-lease.
If you’re unwilling to admit that the written material incurs no harmful consequences – that its %100 the students’ responsibility – then, by the same token, the written material incurs no beneficial consequences. That is, the book’s worth is zero (and $0), its %100 the students’ doings.Clearly that is not the case. Fact is,…[Read more]

Not suggesting that it has to be ‘all the time’, certainly unadorned personal experience is amongst the most.
Just that it’d be cool if, one out of six threads, or one out of ten threads, centered around inquiry into a classic text. I think it’d enrich the board, and enrich personal spectrum of inquiry.
