Here are some further understandings, perhaps they can stimulate other students.

OBSESSION WITH IMMORTALITY / LONGEVITY

I heard MW talk about how he was attached to his body and didn’t want to see it die, and so was interested in longevity or the immortality of the body.

But, yin-yang … life-death. What’s the problem if the body dies? In fact it dies in each moment, with the entire body being replaced every 2 years (that is an average figure, some cells take a few days, bones take a few years to be regenerated).

So if you are 50 then you are on Body25 … and it is simply an illusion that it is the same body. Well, I suppose you could say you like this particular model !!!

If you experience yourself cleanly as a being outside of the body then the body starts to not look so important and such obsession likewise fade.

OBSESSION WITH STRENGTH / POWER

This is particularly a Taoist issue I believe.

There are many who seem to want to power-up again and again, each time “getting stronger”. Well, this is the same ego-dynamic that the Wall Street brokers use isn’t it … except this time instead of greenbacks you are talking about energy-bodies.

There is something not quite right here.

My understanding is that a state of consciousness is ENERGY + RECOGNITION. It is the Recognition that actual holds the energy in place and transfers your identity into it.

With Chi practices we build the energy, and you can feel it around you. It feels “amazing”.

But what about the Recognition ? Well, in general it’s not taught.

It’s like buying a big magic cloak around you. And you want a bigger and bigger cloak. And then you want a magic cloak with diamonds.

In fact for many I believe the old self is still inside that cloak, that old self is feeling the energy, feeling the cloak.

But … you are not BECOMING the cloak because you do not actively trigger the Recognition of it as your self.

Instead of “I feel the cloak” … “I am the cloak”.

This Recognition is a process that is very very subtle, and takes time. It is the “intelligence” within that learns that you are the higher energy body and migrates your identity from your old self to the new.

Possibly this process occurs spontaneously for some practitioners.

But clearly a conscious effort to become that cloak, for your identity to become this energy you have created would be better.

Otherwise it is like you build a beautiful house of energy, but you are not the house. It is still the old you that experiences it.

Any my feeling is that until you are in a state of recognition, then you don’t actually feel the Truth of what you have created. And it is for that reason that you seek more and more strength.

Even a small awakening is a massive shock, and changes everything inside you. I don’t believe that if it is completed correctly you still would seek more strength in the way many practitioners do.

Chi practices are often quite unconscious. “You do this, swings your arms around … and you feel energy”.

But in this way of teaching consciousness is not really related to here, it is not included.

No-one is asking “Who am I ?” and “How does my identity relate to this energy?”

OBSESSION WITH ATLANTIS

Had a friend over on the wekend talking about some theory of two distant stars and their relation to mankind, they were called something like SiphysA and SiphysB.

Well that’s another story isn’t it. Some as the theory of Atlantis. Some people talk of Atlantis AND Lemuria. Others say that Saturn is a competing star to our current Sun engaged in a great battle over eons. For others there is an 11th planet. And you can go one further and seek a 12th planet that orbits every 25,000 years. Or there are the grey aliens or the white aliens, some of which fertilized mankind. Others came from Mars. And did I mention the giant turtles living on Mount Shastra ?

Etcetera. And that is a big etcetera.

If you are wise all this has to come to an end.

And if there are “other beings” out there, you would be wise to hang up the phone.
