Stonehenge Awakens: is The End near?
What is happening on Planet Earth in the Year of the Rat? Updates from the frontlines of Taoist cultivators….including remarkable shifts noticed during ceremonies at Stonehenge during the Autumn Equinox.

Equinoxes are turning points in the planetary calendar, nodal points in which big changes can more easily occur. This Autumn Equinox was notable for two reasons.

One, Wall Street fell to its knees, its worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. This fulfills my Year of the Rat prediction that the financial system might collapse as it undergoes its 60-year re-structuring.

“Financially, it is tough to call this year. There is pressure for the old financial infrastructure itself to dramatically transform as we begin a new cycle. That could destroy a lot of wealth. At the same time there is a supporting impulse to accumulate wealth. So it’s a “win some, lose some” year financially. I think the worst volatility will be the first, more fiery half of the lunar year, with some risk of total meltdown if subprime woes and lack of trust in credit markets sets off a domino effect. Trust is an earth element issue. The banks don’t trust each right now. Until a new trust and sense of clear boundary is restored, old ways of doing business are doomed to fail, and money (water) will not flow easily.
This is not a good time to speculate. The final quarter of the year looks more stable. Mining, metal, global road/building/water/communications infrastructure, agriculture (including raw forest land), food & drink, acquisitions of raw land and property at depressed prices, alternative/renewal energies that protect earth are promising sectors. In short, all the earth & metal element type businesses should do best.”

Not to worry – what arises from the ashes of Wall Street will be better for all. But don’t become complacent – there is more rot in the system of leveraged greed that needs cleaning. Two, Stonehenge rose up. The UK Taoist inner alchemy groups have been renting Stonehenge at the Autumn Equinox for a number of years, and so we know its energetic field very well. Usually we have to “wake up cold stones” with a Taoist ceremony.
This year, we arrived to find the giant stones already warmed up and humming. The air was still and clear, the light had an unusual softness. I noticed immediately the chi field was very warm, cozy, and even intimate – instead of the normally cool feeling of stony aloofness that greets one. This was not just some super-sensible perception by me; many adepts noticed it and commented on it. The Stones were breathing some kind of new life.

Stonehenge is one of those key nodal points for human consciousness; its ancient Mystery and the awesomeness of its 5000 year old construction are world famous. So when Stonehenge shifts, it is very likely that the planet is shifting. It felt to me like a new deep layer of rising earth chi. I have been encouraging Tao cultivators to dig down deep and “eat” this deep earth chi for the last decade. Now you can just scoop it up in your hands and drink it. Like an artisan well, this deep chi has finally reached the surface of the planet of its own will. Our group literally felt themselves melting into the paradoxical softness of the hard stones.

This is wonderful news – it IS a tangible, permanent shift in the Earth’s energy body, not just wild new age speculation about the end of time. I am frequently asked what I think of the meaning of the Mayan calendar. I doubt that Time will end in 2012 – this is mostly Jose Arguelles’ interpretation of their calendar. Time as we used to know it has already ended. Many people have noticed in the last decade that time is somehow speeding up.
It is because we are in a unique “compression period” where dimensions overlap. This compression allows humanity to shift things more quickly. What is happening is that humans are waking up and realizing that Time is just a vibrational aspect of Space that can be shaped by human Will. The challenge here is one of taking responsibility. Can humanity learn to use its shape-shifting gift of Will to create love, balance, and harmony?
What can we do as individuals? We are each a microcosm of the whole. So what we do affects the Whole. Staying present with change, i.e. being literally grounded in this case – will eliminate much of the fear that arises whenever there are dramatic changes afoot.
If you can, get outside, and practice qigong standing on the earth itself. And ASK that the chi of Mother Earth rise up into your body, and help to guide your life. Staying grounded, physically and spirtually, is the most important vibration you can put out to others. Those who lose grounding will feel crazed in their life.

It is significant that such dramatic changes are happening around the time of the Fall Equinox. Fall is metal element, the natural phase of sinking, letting go, like leaves falling off a tree. The Wall Street crisis suggests that Westerners need to let go of their old ways of doing business.
I personally chose this Rat year to invest in a paradigm changing technology that will radically transform the planet, making it less polluted and a quieter place to live. I will write about this technology in the future. For now, I will only say that it is a radically new kind of electric motor that operates on alchemical principles similar to the Taoist microcosmic orbit. You won’t be worrying about your gas bill, the efficiency is so great.

China Dream Trip May 2009
Dates are set for the next CHINA DREAM TRIP: May 8-24, 2009. Departure from Los Angeles, option to join the group in Asia. Itinerary and prices will be posted shortly.

Highlights include a 4 day visit to Tao Garden in northern Thailand to train with Mantak Chia on absorbing Pole Star chi. I will complement his teaching with two very powerful forms, Shamanic 7-Star Big Dipper qigong and Primordial Qigong. This will a very potent combo. The spa facilities will also be available – everything from Taoist and Ayurvedic treatments to stem cell replacement (at one third the cost in the west).

We then take a short flight from Chiang Mai to my favorite province in China, Yunnan. Bordering Tibet, it has spectacular geography (jungle to high snowy peaks) and 55 ethnic tribes. We’ll meditate at the fabulous Tang Dynasty Taoist temple complex at Weibaoshan, enjoy colorful markets in Dali and the marvelous maze of wood architecture in Lijiang, my favorite town in all China. We finish with a 5 day visit to Chengdu. We’ll hang in the powerful Green Goat Temple, play with pandas, and retreat in the Celestial Master Cave Monastery on Mt. Qing. Seasonal Qigong: Strengthen Lungs
SEASONAL QIGONG Recommendation for Fall: do any qigong that strengthens the lungs. This is the season of the Metal or Gold element. Alchemically, the innate virtue of metal is Strength and personal Integrity. For your personal metal to transform itself to a higher level, this season must first reveal any metal weaknesses in your bodily constitution.

The lung healing sound is a good place to start – increase the amount of time practicing it sitting, to release trapped emotions in the lungs. Or do the more dynamic Tiger movement from the 5 Animals Qigong (Qigong Fundamentals 1.

The very best lung-strengthening qigong form is one I custom developed for myself. It’s on DVD (part of Qigong Fundamentals 3 called Ocean, Sky, & Great Heart Breathing: Blissful Breathing Qigong. This form is short – 5 minutes per round, and easy to learn. It trains your lung spirit (“po” in Chinese) to breathe in the deep body channels and three dantian rather than grasping for oxygen outside. It will help repel respiratory diseases that are common to this season as it strengthens the protective auric field around your skin known as wei chi.
