Just taking antibiotics, without massaging internaly to press the infected fluids out, might make bacteria resistant to that particular antibiotic. Or so I’ve heard. One must also urinate after the massage to wash the infected fluids out.
Maybe you could learn, from someone who knows, some reverse yogic asanas (like shoulderstand or head stand – but be careful) to drain exces blood out of pelvis daily.
(You could search this site for the detailed explanation of the above: http://prostatitis.org/?gclid=CLG787bN-qUCFYcm3wodx0ecqQ )

Check it out!
It’s been a recent thread!
(ChiFiend started it)
Best!

http://www.alchemicaltaoism.com
Things to include:
jing (or jing qi) stagnation and semen retention
prostate massage
nocturnal emissions
crown centered orgasm (that’s the name of one thread where a guy describes his experiences – really strong – with dual cultivation; to address your doubts)
Generally, I like to do some physical stretch and turn of pelvis floor. To relax muscles and prostate, and to let blood flow out of the area (and let in new blood):

April 23, 2010 at 10:26 am #34022OgnjenParticipantA few tips that might help:
If you’ve been sitting for long periods of time during the day, there might be more chances to release because a lot of blood (and qi) gets trapped and stagnant in pelvis area.
In the evening and on an EMPTY STOMACH you might:
1 .If you (and particulary your spine and neck) arhe healty, you might wanna consider learning some opside-down hathayoga asanas from someone experienced. (Please, don’t try to learn it by yourself. At least find some very good book on the subject, but books can’t check out how are you actually performing it. Live would be better.)
CHECK OUT COUNTER INDICATIONS (with which health conditions you shuldn’t do it) FOR EVERY ASANA THAT YOU MIGHT TRY!2. Streach groin tendons before going to bed! Do it easily, don’t hurt yourself.
I actually do it both at once: Go into headsteand and strech.
But I’ve been practicing my headsteand for long time. Please be careful with anything above said!
P.S.
Don’t make yourself too warm when going to sleep, you’ll release.
Dont make it cold either, you’ll get cold and lose more qi than by releasing.regards

Essay was about Kierkegaard, a Danish philosopher.
Swedish mystic Michael was refering to (the one who predicted his own death; guy full of visions, generally) is Emanuel Swedenborg. Much more interesting fella – at least for people concerned with spiritual (or ”spiritual”).
P.S.
This should be verified, but I’ve heard that Swedenborg wrote somewhere (according to his visions)that in the ancient times people were not breathing with their lungs but ”up the spine and down the front”. Sounds familiar? 😉
Swedich Dragon, please see to check this out! (I think that’s not in ”Heaven and Hell” though, but in his less known scriptures)

April 9, 2010 at 10:59 am #33839OgnjenParticipantSo, as the title says, what would be the best time time of the Lunar cycle to ”flush the prostate” but keep the qi.
Somewhere around full moon, I guess, when qi should be up anyway and the loss would be the least…But, again, if you would want to have some strong practice around that time (when qi is rising naturally), you might not want to let it go at that particular moment.
That is, of course, if one releases about once in a month.

As for what’s written:
“””””1.It’s better than nothing, i.e. no change; or just
dreams of change. “””””“”””2. It’s cleaner–basically using just water and electrical
power which could be generated via solar, wind, etc. not
using oil. “”””Dreams o change, of course, don’t cook the water, but ‘some’ change might postpone the solution to a times when problem will be a little less solvable. For example, inventing new Hi-tec source of energy that will make us even more dependent on the whole technological process. Don’t forget that it’s a really big process and that involves much real suffering – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – on the side of those not so well positioned inside of this technological Leviathan. It also involves over-exploitation of the Earth.
We should radically lessen our needs for energy, not invent new sources for the same expenditure.
btw.
Link to Wikipedia I posted in my previous post is about a man who really lived his ”invention”, and did so for many years. He also spread his knowledge through various means…
I’s just he didn’t reached for more, he pulled back for less. And that doesn’t make him a ”New Bill Gates” (Like that Taras guy in the video).3.
As for ”terrorists”, I’m not so sure that every one of their groups isn’t to some degree controlled by major governments, i.e. that they serve a purpose of inner and outer control and as an excuse for all these wars (again, internal and over the seas). But that’s a whole new subject and let’s not go too much in that direction…4. Driving:
On some days I go to work by car, on others by public transportation (bus). Believe me, you can shut your eyes when you’re on the bus seat and thus make your meditation deeper 😉I plan to go to some remote mountain parts this summer and I will try to use my car as little as possible. Otherwise, the mountain might just become another commodity.
And as for implementation, I’m waiting for spring to come. Wish me luck!
Best,
Ognjen
February 11, 2010 at 4:03 am #33224OgnjenParticipantIs it what we really want?
Having same cars, same traffic jams on ways to the same jobs, same inhumane distances inside human dwellings (impossible to walk over), same highway spiderwebs across the land. But with a hydrogen inside our reservoirs and a little bit cleaner (and maybe mor humid) air around our cities. A few new river dams, coal and nuke power stations should surely be handy for making this hydrogen out of electricity.
There is possibly a tone of cynicism in my post, but please note that it’s not directed toward you, Steven, but towards all these new ”solutions” that keep us in the same mind frame all the time.
Maybe it’s off the topic, but I’ll try to be constructive here and offer my vision of what is invention and what kind of person is a real inventor. Just read the ‘Quotes’ part:

With best regards,

February 7, 2010 at 4:11 am #33204OgnjenParticipantQatsies are real masterpieces (especially first two).
Ron Fricke’s Baraka also (Fricke was cinematographer of first one or two Qatsies). In my opinion, these films are some of the essential cures for widespread false pride of living in our ”progressive and technologically advanced times” (and, generally, in all this big mistake called civilization).
After watching it, one might reconsider using word ‘human’ in correlation with ‘progress’. It’s the Megamachine (Lewis Mumford’s term) that’s progressing, and the people inside are just carrying their share of load-filled sack on the back. Just like people in this video.
(I’m not trying here to describe human life as miserable, just stating my opinion about relations inside the Machine). -
