October 10, 2006 at 5:00 pm #18441oldhParticipantThankx very much. So you’d basically say it is a good idea to train with him?
October 10, 2006 at 11:38 am #18439oldhParticipantrares. you speak about
>I don’t really have the competency to judge and compare other people’s experiences as of course I have done my share of false hopes, some induced by fake gurus met in the early years of practice, some induced by David Verdesi also.<
would you mind giving some insights of what you mean, please?
thankx in advance

Thankx Bagua. I was refering to the long discussions not too long ago where so much was spoken about the pros and cons of Tao Alchemy & emtptiness meditation… and I asked what you would do different would you start all over again from today'S point of view…
regarding the many versions:
why do you think are they? Are they becsuse of different levels of the teachers, different energetical needs, so that actually nobody should practice one and the same form? Which advantages have you found from one over the other?thankx much

May 13, 2006 at 5:14 am #13869oldhParticipantNow. Still. Couldn’T it be that the animals people grow up FOR being killed and eaten do not have anything in common with for example a wild bird one kills? Maybe there is no Karma involved at all int hat process… further I wonder if somebody like you Max, you had this special insight during practice, would grow a different amount of Karma by eating meat as somebody who is in so far ihonarant about it as he/she did not have that insight!?!

March 19, 2006 at 1:44 pm #11716oldhParticipantThankx Bagua. If you don’t mind: if you were to start all over again. What would you do different… which practices would you today pick up, which would you leave away… which way would you today advise people to take if you were their teacher?

March 19, 2006 at 4:20 am #11712oldhParticipantBagua, as I haven’T been following all of the discussions in the past I might have missed it… would you mind sharing your practices with me/us and who it was you learned them from?
thankx in advance

That one is just breathing up and down the spine, and is pretty easy to do throughout the day. Its a good complement to the squeezing stuff.<< I still do not really get how you integrate both (sacral squeeze & spinal breathing) into ONE process... the sacral squeeze at the end of the exhale is meant to send energy up the spine... do you use that initial signal to carry over into the inhale raising the energy? thankx Harry
December 13, 2005 at 9:09 pm #9350oldhParticipantI personally feel that Michael Winn’S Fundamental courses for opening the Orbit include some pretty nice sets… further I have realized that for myself standing meditation is great (Zhan Zhuan… or spoken out: Dscham Dschong or similar). You might consider travelling finding a teacher to see one to don’t know how many times a year to get your positions checked… I see no trouble in using the stretching form of Falung gong. Do it myself on and off… it is really nice. Regarding Falun Gong I am not sure about the master but I know from many different teachers whose students are weird without the teachers being… I did not say that your teacher is evil… but I think a teacher should have reached a certain place of emotional stability in order to teach… consider to do some practices from the http://www.aypsite.com
very easy to follow and definitely a good starting place to lay a proper foundation for all that is to come I feel… more info on training material: see over at http://www.taobums.com & Trunk has a pretty nice place to start… but currently just can’T remember the link…December 13, 2005 at 1:36 am #9334oldhParticipantI think not all Falun Gong practitioners are as you describe… but there sure are many… as Snowlion I would not worry about practicing the forms… if they do you good they do you good and have their own right… further I’D say: leave a QiGong master that tends to freak out so easily… no stable energy there…
