Hi Fajin,
For what is worth, you can contact Mantak Chia via Universal Tao website in Thailand. He should contact you back with questions you still might have after Michael responds. Below is the link for him, good luck to you

I agree Mantak Chia, in my view is the Great Pioneer of these arts; I personally don’t have an affinity with this Dr. Michael Saso. When I find a 1/2 way decent written articles on Daoist Alchemy I post it.

thanks for feedback….interesting also is now Jerry alan Johnson seems to be pursuing this sect of Daoism, & teaching it at a hefty rate again…I personally like the practice of “one cloud” aka healing Tao. I have been practicing since I 1984 and have seen many people and things come & go and here we all are still standing.

This is an interesting question, the only comment I have to say is that alot of the “13 froms that are attributed to Master Chan look more like another Yang style. Miso,
Generally I ask myself or advise people the following:
What is the theory and movement priniciples behind a given set? Is it for Martial Art or General Health or Stylized Qigong (forms). It’s always good to be clear of your objectives before investing in a certain style per say; If what you are doing is a couple different sets in…[Read more]

These postures that Li HongZhi has taught are found in other schools of thought. I met a Chinese teacher that allegedly knew of him prior to Falun Gong and it came from a Xiou Lian (Spiritual Purification) Chan Mi Buddhist practice.
