Nice blog, NN, brings together all the influences in your life under the umbrella of neutrality.
What is poorly understood about neutrality is that it is a force in itself, not simply the negation of yin and yang, not simple neither-neither. Neither-neither is useful only on the mind level, to neutralize the tendency to conceptualize. Zen is…[Read more]

The question does not have a fixed answer. If you look at the list of practices Max offers, he obviously mixes practices and has done so his whole life. It moe important for beginners to not mix practices, they have no ground of their own and each practice shifts their center.
if you are at the level of practicing kan and li, you should have a…[Read more]

Thanks for sharing your own epic journeys into the underworld, wendy.
About the ddragon myth of St. George that has been given a healthy re-interpretation in your telling above:
I find it intereeting how different the dragon myth is in China, where it symbolizes p ower and good fortune, imperial rule, strength and abundance. Why so…[Read more]

Internal Sexual alchemy is designed to re-grow an androgynous energy body. I’ve had countless experiences, both solo and partnered, that would be considered bizarre to most. So thanks for sharing the flavor of what is possible in the sexual-energetic realms of transformation.
One of my favorites was when, during lesser kan and li practice, my…[Read more]

If you read Harold Roth’s Original Tao, you will see that Lao Tzu actually was very clear – his language was well understood by the Taoist meditational circles and longevity seekers of his time. Modern readers are reading from a wholly different context, and often even scholars don’t know the now esoteric references to alchemical processes.

Pietro,
I’m glad I could so easily push a button and help you vent some deeply pent up feelings. It suggests you are feeling the need to have your scientific work more deeply valued. But others cannot ultimately do this for you – you have to place value yourself on what you invest into empriical science, and embrace it as your valid world view…[Read more] -

I’ve already been to this party- I studied with Max about five years ago.
The video on the website is NOT of max. I am frankly skeptical of the “bounce” power demonstrated – this kind of thing I have seen demonstrated in the past required students who are highly entrained with the teacher/projecting person. i.e. if they were attacked by a…[Read more]

The tapes of the new practice willb e made available – I’m certainly not interested in keeping it secret.. I need to test them in a group setting, that usually evolves or clarifies things.

I think channelled material is unimportant, self-culktivation practices are what is essential. But I occasionally use them to get different perspectives, sometimes there are seed ideas that I will then explore in my personal practice.
Shapiro is one of the best channels I’ve read. Perhhaps I feel that way because so muchof what he channels…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic China's Influence Spreads Around World (news article) in the forum Philosophy 17 years, 9 months ago
Globalizing is a two edged sword. The more wealth it creates inside China, and the bigger the middle class becomes, the more reforms are taking place. It was no different in the west – the industrial revolution developed a wealthy middle class that demanded the same freedom as their former Lords.
Yes, it also makes the ruling Communists…[Read more] -

It sounds – like most people – your sexual energy is still volatile, despite your practice. This is case especially with people who have intense sexual energy due to genetics or astrology, It can be exacerbated by fluctuations in planetary chi field that are happening currently – we live in a volatile time period, and it tends to play out first in…[Read more]

I personally accept the likelihood that the Big Shakeup could reduce earth population by a third. Thanks for the overview of scrying in magical traditions.
One of the interesting ideas I found in The Explorer Race channelings (robert Shapiro) is that the Creator Gods with various talents are often looking to their future selves to find solutions to current problems, i.e. they are downloading that info faster and thus in effect creating a…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Question about Earthly & Astral Karma for Michael in the forum General 17 years, 10 months ago
This is Buddhist claptrap, trying to defend the monastic way of life where they cut off sex. Its a male, anti-femine, anti-life view of Karma that ends up with no more humans being born once we all achieve enlightenment. Basically, it s a death wish for humanity, desguised in flowery visions of heaven.
In my view, the enlightened Taoist sage…[Read more]

NN,
Most of your questions would be answered by progression to Kan and Li courses, which go deep into relation between pre and post natal.I think the challenge here is that you’ve done a lot of practice, and are getting more advanced effects from fundamental practices like the orbit, which in most people develops more slowly.

northern wu is large frame, closer to old style Yang Pan Hou tai chi. Read Tina Zhang and Frank Allen’s new book on it.

NN,
I made the remark based on my experience of practicing bellydance at a local music festival. whenever i got there, i take the bellydancing classes, they are more fun than anyone else. of course, most bellydancers don’t hve quite the same internal awareness of advanced qigong practitioners, but still many similarities.
