Hi Stalker,
I’ve mellowed. Into- Less news, less opinions.. I’m drawing my circle of interest closer to me. Starting my thoughts w/ ‘I don’t know..’
I strive for pronoia, a state of thinking that is Everything is going to turn out just fine.
I have the luxury of not being effected by the Russian/Georgian conflict and the 100% knowledge…[Read more]

Some people who feel stronly that way become fruitarians. Only eating fruit (and nuts) from trees and bushes that offer them up freely. Thus no plants suffering early termination. Daniel Reid mentions the practice in one of his books (Tao of Healthy, sex and longevity?). He does say to get proper nutrition you eat the seeds, core and peel (even…[Read more]

I agree with Yi Tao. Though I’m by no means a literalist. I think the 5 books of Moses and other biblical works, evolved over time and borrowed from other cultures. They are remembered histories from the bronze age. There is wisdom to be gotten from them, but for them to be such a source of dispute and warful has got to be one of the original…[Read more]

Whoa invasion of the antlike nazi hoard anyone? The author can’t expect to be taken seriously when he uses so much hyperbole and hysteria in his arguments.

If you have the chance get her CD’s. Her Tao Basics, Fusion I, and various breathing guided meditations are excellent.

What a moon, full and rising as the sunsets in the west. I’m lucky enough to see it rise over lake Michigan, bright like the sun.

On the link section here, look up Silent Ground. Minke De Vos is an HT instructor from Canada. She might have some work shops near you. I know she will be teaching a seminar at Tao Mountain this Summer.

I think letting go, aka surrendering is of supreme importance. But unless you have sufficient practice and momentum behind it, it you won’t take you very far.
Sort of like a great musician relaxes and lets the music move through him. That only works after years of practice. The great athlete moves without conscious thought, again thats after…[Read more]

I picked up some of her guided meditation CD’s 3 years ago at Tao Mountain. They are great. Her Tao Basics is a must have, 4 great guided meditations including Micro cosmic orbit, Deep body smile (30 minutes fusion like), Sexual Energy, and Energy meditation. All have binaural sounds, sound effects, go deeply into each subject, ie the micro…[Read more]

He has a new book, 90 days to Astral Travel, I think its about $22 bucks. It comes w/ a CD which has guided meditations and a brain wave generator program. First few weeks there are several pages per day. Then it gets down to 2 pages a day.
Lots of homework in it, 20 to 40 minutes of practice a day, not including his Xtra credit:)

Thats what I was looking for. Any other OBEr’s out there? Comments?
I’ll check out those books. I do think dream/night practice is ultimately one of the major studies for energy work.

Its amazing how in the middle of an argument, one calm person, can say a few simple lines, and leave people feeling, WHAM, that is it, that is the heart.

It shouldn’t be such rocket science to authenticate. Not much more then go to bed and how many fingers am I holding behind my back.
In his old book LaBerge(sp) Lucid Dreaming, he found people who said they could astral travel were under testing in a lucid dream state. I read one astral travel book a long time ago, where the author (one of…[Read more]

It seems to me that astral projection should be pretty simple to prove. In the past all I’ve seen is anecdotal evidence. Anybody have any good links w/ evidence? Heck I’ll even take more recent anecdotal stuff.
In his his earliest book on Lucid Dreaming, the author who ran the Stanford Dream research center looked for but couldn’t find proof…[Read more]

The Chi Nei Tsang Institute has a long Bone Dreaming Meditation on the Sleeping Chi Kung CD. Its long 30 minutes. Spends about 10 minutes on the skull, linking and expanding the bones there w/ the breath. Another 10 minutes slowly going down the spinal cord to the sacrum.
Its a good tool for focusing the attention on the bones and feeling…[Read more]

You can pick up the Onion for free at a lots of places here in Chicago. Its 100% parody, like the Weekly World news. Unfortunately they’re less over the top, and there reports actually end up being quoted as ‘real’ news.

GD, people who may criticize aren’t neccessarily demons and cowards. There are probably sincere people in that group who just want a bit more information then you are able to give.
Demonizing (literally) people who question you, isn’t going to earn you lots of chittlings 🙂
Peace
