I know we’re discussed and meditated on this comfounded planetary coupling for 7 months now but…
try this:
We’re riding a Star here called Earth. Tapp into the Dark Star Yang and ride the wave on this Radiant Dark Star Mothership on thru the Purple Flowering Essence of the Sun. Then on thru the heart of Saturn. The Planets Ring. The Angel Sing. The Sage is Wise. Do you hear me Brother. 🙂

March 13, 2008 at 5:14 pm #27738Soaring Spirit FeatherParticipantCheck back in with the 8 Extraordinary Vessel practices. That set of practices uses mini-orbits in the light body. One practice uses figure 8’s above, thru and below the body. The 8 Extraordinary Vessels are mini-orbits. Possibly your k&l cooking has freed up your awareness to the smaller orbital exchanges happening everywhere.
Look at the I-Ching too. There are mini orbits everywhere… the parings, the hidden sides, the cousins, within the 8 spirit helpers and within the shen it’s self.
The other note: I’d guess we end up with the sun below the moon becasue that is the way we were trained to do it and the archtypes work well for the “cooking.” True Yin and True Yang can be realized any which way you stack it….
Happy orbiting & don’t forget to Smile. 😉

if you want two very grounded 911 sites:
http://911review.com/index.htmland sister site:
http://911research.wtc7.net/re911/welcome.htmlexcerpt from 911review… be careful what you are spreading…
the ScholarsFor911Truth.org is purposeful confusion to an otherwise clear message….
————————————————–
ScholarsFor911Truth.orgThe website ScholarsFor911Truth.org illustrates, perhaps better than any website, how disinformation both exploits and neutralizes some of the best work of 9/11 Truth researchers and activists. The website presents several potent assets:
* The scholarly and meticulous work of members Steven Jones and David Griffin.
* The impressive list of Scholars For 9/11 Truth members, including such distinguished contributors to the 9/11 Truth cause as Kevin Ryan, Don Paul, Andreas Von Buelow, Robert M. Bowman, Kevin Barrett, Ian Woods, and Victoria Ashley.
* The concept of a group of scholars bringing together their expertise to challenge the government’s account — a first in the history of the 9/11 Truth Movement. However, through the energetic spokespersonship of James Fetzer, ScholarsFor911Truth.org exploits these assets to increase its profile and thereby promote the Pentagon no-jetliner theory featured on its “Resources” page.
The association of the junk science typified by the ScholarsFor911Truth.org’s resources page with the competent work of Jones and Griffin featured on the home page functions both to advance the former, and discredit the latter through association. In an essay examining ScholarsFor911Truth.org, Jim Hoffman concludes that the website may sabotage the work of Steven Jones.
e x c e r p t
title: ScholarsFor911Truth.org: Muddling the Evidence
authors: Jim Hoffman… Because of the importance of the flawed ScholarsFor911Truth.org website, that may happen despite the good intentions and excellent credentials of many of the group’s members.
In late-2005, people looking into Steven Jones’ work would be directed to his paper on the Brigham Young University website. Now, people are directed to ScholarsFor911Truth.org, which mixes the scholarly work of Steven Jones and David Griffin with unscientific, sensationalist, and even offensive material. In the context of the flawed ScholarsFor911Truth.org website, Jones’ work will be much easier to dismiss as the product of a group of “conspiracy theorists.”

well put message. and certainly valid questions. all this has been addressed on this board at length before. if you search the archives you’ll find michael’s response to this same sort of question, though i don’t want to rob him the chance to say it again.
if you go thru the kan & li’s with michael he’ll spell it out as well. at that point i doubt you will care it came from as it will be alive in the present.

I’m sure there is more than a few of us that can relate to what you just wrote. Once you get on a deeply spiritual path, no matter what it is you are going to start shifting. Maybe your partner can make those shifts with you, maybe they don’t want to or are going in a whole differnt direction themselfs.
I was in a similar situation and eventually it came to a point for myself to either, grow, evolve or die. My partner was also “very concerned” but all i asked for (begged rather) was for us to re-imagine our relationship to allow us both to grow. We did re-imagine it though after 20 years we are not together any more. Tough way to go. There are a lot of very long term relationships splitting up right now, others following. i don’t know if it is just the times or something that has always happened.
Notice im not going to tell you what to do. I think you offered the best advice for yourself, i hope you can stay with it.
“I keep coming back to myself and reminding myself that if I follow my own way and listen to my inner voice, then everything will be OK… ”
There’s certainly truth to what you wrote but I would not judge how that may relate to your relationship. If you are concerned about the realtionship you should get some help, now, or yesterday even.
keep listening

Michael has a much less “in the head” approach in general and the techniques are more elloquent and grounded. The level of “advanced” is up to you. I though the animal movents were silly when first learning them but now concder them quite brilliant adn deeply moving. Movement, color, sound, intent… very powerful.
It the very least i would recommend Checking out Winn’s Fundamentals 2 Microcosmic Orbit. Certainly his version was easier to get for me than Chia’s.
The counterforce breath is just one type of breath. It certainly is powerful and useful for really moving the qi. I would think any one that breathes would find a use for it. I use it in several meditaions. These techniques are on Winn’s Fundamentals 3 cd’s.
There is an excellent new dvd for the Fundamentals called “Ocean, Sky and Great Heart Breathing” which is an alchemical breath ceremony, (also dubbed correctly “blissful breathing” qigong)
hope that helps
happy breathing

I know there has been debate about teaching extremely powerful practices like Kan & Li or even Healing Love. Where do you draw the line? I think that trusting the higher good has won out. If everyone focused on hiding practices because of possible harm, then that very act is increasing the possibility of that someone would seek out some knowledge to do harm. Pretty much a universal law isn’t it?
I’ve most often heard the Chinese when using the term “evil” refering to stuck, stagnant, or excess rising Qi. I’m not sure they have a concept of evil as westerners do. I think this type of knowledge and other spiritual practices remained hidden in China only because no one wanted to share what might give them an edge in the struggle for survival. They still don’t want to share but it got flushed out and a few have been willing to not only share but build on the knowledge and practices. The only difference i see in someone’s ability to perform these practices is what level someone is willing to acknowledge their own reality and participate in that reality in a “aware” state so to speak.
As pointed out, women have struggled a lot thru history so it seems even they might develop practices that would strengthen them. Possibly as some point in balancing out the male / female disparity they went over the edge, drawing more than their due. They might have even liked drawing more than their share for a while. Their ability does not have anything to do with their level of “ordinary” but rather the amount of time and consciousness they are willing to devote to their own development with these practices. The book that you refer to is not a complete picture of the hidden White Tiger lineage. It was written by a taoist scholar based on an interview with a practitioner. It is an incomplete picture at best. Maybe good reading, that is what sells books.
The ability to do harm with these practices comes first with the ability to harm yourself. That’s why you better work thru the issues of the day and pay attention to yourself, grounding, presence, structure, process, acknowledgment. I think that by the time most people develop the ability to do anything “evil” to someone else they will have enough going internally that they have no desire to do such a thing.
Actually there is no better time to connect with yourself and learn a life practice that may have been hidden for a millennium. The support is here. The knowledge, tested and proven effective, what more do you want? It’s all up to you and your willingness to fully experience your own reality.

February 11, 2006 at 4:32 am #10328Soaring Spirit FeatherParticipantHi,
Just sharing my own experince. I used to have extrememly cold fingers, toes, hands feet, nose, ears etc when in even slightly cold weather. Now I’m rarely cold in any of those areas within reason and feel and look a lot better. one of the biggest things for me was to work with the kidneys.
Mr. Winn here has an excellent dvd that’s called sexual vitality which is kidney strengthing qiong. i would reccomend that you check that out and do especially the l – r earth pulsing / walking one and do it every single day for 15 minutes or so. There’s 25 forms on the disc, pick one or two you resonate with. Just start paying attention to how you feel, listen to yourself and you’ll find ways to feel better.
Just my suggestion from my own experince.
also if you have not tried out primordial it’s always a winner…

mike 🙂February 8, 2006 at 8:11 pm #10280Soaring Spirit FeatherParticipantexerpt cross posted from the tao bums but seems relavent…
also, I’m remebering a iron shirt session with ron diana….
we were 30 minutes or so into 50 minute standing session, most of us were struggling. i was next to a guy that was a life long marial artist. (kung fu) he was obviously into weight lifting with impressive toned muscles and had extremely fast reflexes, (not to mention cool tatoos). he was not a “body builder” so to say but showed the result of some serious iron pushing. ron burst out how he usually did laughing and said, “why is the stongest person in the room having the hardest time with this?”
why was this guy struggling so much? he was fit, strong muscles, amazing reflexes and cat like fluid movement but he could not stand comfortably, even with his arms down for any length of time. another note ron mentioned that the people that think the standing practice is about breath are also going to suffer a lot.
his point, driven home by making us hold our arms out for 50 minutes at a time was that STRUCTURE was the key to a strong body. i think creating that structure has a lot to do with OPENING yourself to the deep inner earth as well as this physical earth.
